Newcastle 3-1 Everton. Patterson didn't get on  😟  (Not even in the last 5 mins when the game was clearly lost).
Positives?:  Ryan Fraser had a good game before being subbed off around the 80 minute mark. (He'd taken some heavy challenges throughout the game, but looked fit when jogged off to a warm reception).

Everton were pretty poor in the 2nd half (like they were lacking physical fitness or something?). Here's hoping Frank Lampard rings the changes for the next game.

Stoke 3-0 Swansea | Championship highlights | Video | Watch TV Show | Sky Sports

Played upfront then got moved out to the wing first half last night after Campbell got injured.

Good finish for the goal and stood their defender up a few times.  Should have had a second although their defender was really unlucky to be penalised in fairness for handball.

When he came from Barnsley he was a winger who could run all day like a dog chasing a laser pen but was pretty crap at everything else.  The coaching staff say he works his bollocks off and in the summer said it was like having a new player how much he’s coming on – it’s translating on to the pitch too now.

He’s still rough around the edges but he’s beginning to look a bit like Johnny Walters who was at Chester/Wrexham at the same age but developed late.  For us not sure he’ll ever be first pick but a good option particularly if a game needs the right winger to track all game but still offer an outlet / threat the other way.

Hanley and McLean starting but Gilmour on the bench for Norwich tonight, who are playing an old stylee 4-4-2.

McGinn starts for Villa and Adams and Armstrong start for Southampton.

Queens Park Rangers starting with more Scots tonight than Glasgow Rangers. 🙃

Ralston with an assist against Aberdeen.

Conversely Ramsey was pish and got hooked. If Patterson can't get minutes ahead of a cabbaged Coleman and useless Kenny we should be looking at all options 👍

On a side note, I read the other day some fact (and it might be still standing) that when Armstrong hasn't been in the Southampton team, they haven't won a game in two years!

That's an amazing fact!
I love the comments in the screenshots. Nice to see.

I thought Armstrong looked really good when he came on against Denmark and played in a Ryan Christie type role supporting Che Adams up front. I wonder if that could be his position in the team. He has always struggled when playing in midfield with McGinn. The midfield never feels balanced when those 2 are in the team together.
