Caledonian Craig
I knew we'd have the edge in goalies. No offence to Rocky but Marshall is the better 'keeper.
Burj_Alba
Did Porteous tell the squad that Marciano was painfully slow going down to his right? If so man of the match
kumnio
Penalties were excellent, the exact opposite than the game. I thought Norway would hammer Serbia, big game next month, but we must improve at least ten fold, and get this formation to fuck.

romanticscot
We defended better today than we have done for a while, but we are into the final and keep going. And as an unexpected twist, we are not playing Norway. 90,120 or penalties away from EURO 2020. I am so relieved, but what an ugly game, unbeaten in 6 games. We need to call up some players for Sunday.
Caledonian Craig
They were much better on the ball and in possession but we got into the better positions and came closest to scoring. McTominay missed a sitter they missed that golden chance and we hit the post.
vanderark14
I really dont give a shit how we won that game. Its knock out football and we are one win away from our first tournament in 22 years. This will lift the players big time. Another month to get mckenna, armstrong and tierney back. A month for the likes of fraser to get more match sharpness. Mon scotland Edited October 8, 2020 by vanderark14

Big shout out to Declan Gallagher who I thought did really well.

ErsatzThistle
Liam Cooper seems to be getting more confident at international level
Duncan Blackheart
It’s worked out well having another 2 games across the week. Time to work on that formation (or ditch it). It’s also, dare I say it, decent preparation for our first 3 games in around 10 days come the summer! 😆

ProudScot
Probably would rather not face Haaland in the final so possibly best for us that Serbia beat them. were so shite with this formation and manager though! Surely we can’t beat a good team...
bigfingers
Players will be on a high and might play with a little more freedom on Sunday.

DAVIDB46
Good news is that a lot of these players won’t want to call off for the next two games. if we had lost we would have been hit with loads of calls off. Surprised at people being surprised Serbia got through. it will be difficult over there as they will probably have some form of crowd as well. biffer
One of the big problems for me tonight was the quality of balls into the box. The four from dead balls were excellent and the closest we came to scoring, but from wide positions there was only one decent ball into the box in open play, and a string of absolute crap apart from that.
Fairbairn
The Renfrewshire United flag was a blast from the past, not seen that for a long time. What was the name of the boy that used to post on here that was part of it?

mccaughey85
That was tough to watch, only positive was we defended well. Cooper and gallagher did well and kept Israel from getting any clear cut opportunities. The pens were excellent especially under such pressure.
romanticscot
We missed Christie, but we made it. Well done the lads, Robertson had a great game I felt, you could tell his determination from the start.

But a massive step up from Israel.
