JandC
Adam’s is playing really well at the moment. In fact, Southampton have been pretty good all round.

killiefaetheferry
Adams MoM at Old Trafford. Very good performance from him. Good hold up play and work rate. Clinical for his goal. Yum yum yum .....😋
killiefaetheferry
Armstrong was good throughout as well. McTominay competent in the holding role.

mccaughey85
Adams is doing well right now and should be our main striker for the play offs.

mcguffin
Hickey back for Bologna after his suspension. Started on the right against a strong Lazio side (featuring the likes of Immobile, Pedro and Milinkovic-Savic), and had a good first half. Bologna were maybe a bit unlucky to be down 1-0 at half-time (a bit of a soft penalty). Second half Hickey was switched to the left and Bologna looked to attack to get back into the game. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and the wheels came off a wee bit for Bologna. With the game well and truly lost, Hickey was subbed off on 77 minutes. But all-in-all, Hickey had a good game (especially the first half). Not sure if he'll win himself an international call up anytime soon. (That said, Roberto Mancini was in the crowd at the Olimpico Stadio, just saying 😉 ).

Well if SOD and Patterson continue to not get a game for their teams, and Ralston plays second fiddle to Juranovic, we might well see Hickey called up. Especially since he has actually been playing RWB lately for Bologna. I wonder how Gauld is doing in the MLS. Not been keeping to to date with that, but calls for his inclusion have gone a bit cold. Are they in off-season or something?
noctonjock
I wouldnt try any uncapped players for the play offs . Keep with what we've used to get us here . I'm not saying Hickey doesn't deserve a chance but I think it's a wee bit risky to throw an uncapped player in at such a crucial game . Only my opinion

ceudmilefailte
Good to see McBurnie starting for Sheffield United for the first time in ages and helping them to goal less draw against Huddersfield. In fairness he had five attempts on goal with four on target and the Huddersfield keeper did get MoM

Good to see him get a run out today but I suspect McGregor will be back in until at least the next Scottish cup game. Shouldn’t make a great deal of difference to us as Gordon will likely start against Ukraine anyway but if anything happens to him we could do with McLaughlin playing regularly. Malcolm
Patterson unused sub. Its clear he will be an understudy to coleman which is what i suggested at the time of the transfer and was shot down. Coleman also scored yesterday. Super_Scotlandfan
Thought Gilmour played well, extremely difficult against the best team in the EPL. Hanley was really effective with what he’s good at. So strong in the air, making blocks, last ditch defending but gave away a clumsy penalty. Still think he’s our best choice as central centre back. Cooper might have challenged him but hasn’t played in weeks and will unlikely to be match sharp for Ukraine.
