It’s nowhere near Hampden either.

He’d have a good half hour walk whilst soaking wet and stinking of the aforementioned faeces.

Ok, sorry I mentioned it. It was a reference to one of my favorite drunken rants about 15 year ago.. Classic pished Ramy !! 🤣🤣🐋

Good one. So if i disagree with you then basically i'm not a real Scotland fan. Brilliant. Makes me wonder what i have been doing at Scotland matches home and away for the last 50 years or so. 🙄🙄🙄

I think he’s saying if you boo a Scotland player getting his first cap because he played age grade football for England and grew up in England. That’s nonsense.

Hes a Scottish internationalist now. More than most of us will ever be. His family will be well proud.

Onwards onto Spain!

It’s good having a really tall keeper, much like Gordon. It definitely helps for defending set pieces.

I wanted to comment on his height being a good asset. I can't say I have seen him play but if he has good shot stopping instincts and average or better ball distribution he really could add to the team. I love Gordon to bits but none of us can be sure how this injury will affect him once he is back and he might be motivated to retire from internationals just to get another two years of domestic games. I'm all honesty, I expected him to retire after the injury but for his mental health it's probably a good motivator to get back into playing shape rather than rehabilitating without a big prize at the end.

Not 100% on him, but he look solid with that low taken shot. Let's hope he continues it

When the Cyprus guy got that chance, I thought here we go again, this is going the same way as the last time we played them at Hampden. Remember we let them score an equaliser late on, but we managed to sneak the win with an even later goal from Burke. The guy didn't quite connect right with his shot, but that can sometimes make it more difficult for the keeper. Thankfully Gunn managed to save it. It was a save that any decent keeper should make but sometimes these ones just fool the keeper enough for them to get past him.

I thought Gunn was much more confident with the ball at his feet than Gordon which is a plus. Gunns kick outs and punts were not much better than Gordon's, so he needs to work on that. Hard to say much else about him as he didn't have much else to do. We'll just have to see how it goes on Tuesday, if he plays.

Whatever we feel about his participation he's now a Scotland international and playing at a reasonable level, as many have said, we're thin on the ground after it being arguably our strongest position for the last 15+ years.
Hope to see Craigie back soon. ;)

One thing about Gunn I would say is that he is more likely to have a world class performance in him than any of our other keepers.

Doesn't mean he's better but at least there is a chance. Would still prefer Gordon for his consistency and experience. But against top teams if he gets that sort of performance he could keep a clean sheet.

Really not much to assess from yesterday. More of an examination to come on Tuesday I'm sure

Yeah I have a feeling he’ll be slightly busier tomorrow night. We’ll need him to have a very good performance if we’re going to get anything from the game.

If he does play well and we get at least a point then most of the negative chat on here will likely disappear. At least until he has a bad performance for us anyway.

Reports Clarke is also looking at Brighton keeper Jason Steele (qualifies through his grandmother).... inclined to put this down as paper talk, as in 2 seasons at Brighton, he has only started their last 4 league games....

Clarke really doesn't rate Kelly or Zander if this is the case.

I think you have to look at Clark on the basis of just how long will we have him for?.... if Gordon comes back from injury and gets the No1 shirt at Hearts again (and given Hearts form of late, would not be surprised if he dose), it should be a straight swap in the squad, but if Gordon decides that the gloves are in safe hands with Gunn and quits to concentrate on club football, that means we are a keeper down in the squad.

So I would say this hinges more so on Gordon's future to give us a strong back up keeper, and relegate Kelly to 3rd choice.

Could still do with another decent keeper. Can't see McCrorie being at Rangers next season, maybe if he gets a regular start it might be him. Gunn's done well in his first two appearances and has been solid, glad he finally saw sense and opted for us.

To be fair, (and i can't quite believe i'm saying this after 2 games - one of which was against Spain), i'm not sure he's been tested yet. Agree with your last bit though... A welcome addition.
