Whilst he was okay tonight you can see that some of the play didn’t move as quickly normal with him it was slightly slower , not sure if was lack of game tonight . Pace moving a bit faster as arsenal bring on their bigger guns Certainly going to do us no favours. That's for sure.

All the injuries beginning to take their toll?

The thought of a back 3 of McKenna, Hanley and Hendry terrifies me Tieney on the bench. I would play a four at the back.

thesaint
Superb for Celtic, superb for Scotland and superb for Arsenal. This season he just doesn't look the same.He isn't bombing up the wing and going by players. He looks as if he is lacking a bit of confidence which you would think could be caused by his lack of game time. I was at game last night. Tierney didn't look himself. First half he was on same side as Arteta, and Arteta kept telling him what to do, where to go Second half he played a different role. However Arsenal as a whole were playing a different game last night There was a lot of restraint in Tierney s play, obvs doing what his boss was saying His confidence didn't look good either.... He definately looks like a different player at the moment. As you say he looked restrained in his play. Seemed as if he was scared to play to his natural game and to his strenghts. Before this injury he was destined for the epl. Just our luck that gordon and now stewart have gotten serious injuries. Both positions that we are short on when it comes to good players. Looking at his stats, he doesn't seem to have done much of note up until yesterday, but sometimes all you need is one good game to be the catalyst for a run of form. I do wonder what Nisbet would have done if he'd played the 90. As a sub, he scored and donated the penalty to Campbell. Another goal will surely firm up more interest in him from admirers.
