Good for Robertson to get a rest for a few games.

Just in time for Christmas.  Denis Law used to specialise in that!

He can't complain about his red although Kane should definitely have walked as well.  Superb assist from Andy today, taking the ball while travelling at speed and delivering an inch-perfect cross.  Fabulous player.

World class left back and great role model.

Despite getting thumped today, Newcastle fans seem to be warming to Fraser under Howe, a lot on Twitter saying he has been playing his best football for them and fitness is looking a lot better than it has.

That's good news. He definitely brings something different to the Scotland squad (e.g. his acceleration with the ball is pretty special I think). Hope he gets back to the form he showed a few seasons back.

Not a player, but Maloney has just been appointed the Hibs manager. That can only be a good thing for Scotland. A very proud Scot and fiercely intelligent, from what I've heard. It could do wonders for Nisbet, or other young Scots in that team.

That's interesting! Does that mean he's left the Belgium set up completely? (I'm guessing it does?)

England captain, VAR says no, Scotland captain, VAR says yes 🤔

They were both bad challenges but the golden boy gets off with a yellow.  Mibee they'll take retrospective action (I doubt it though).

It's a good opportunity for him.

And a red card, probably deserved although Kane had a worse one on him in the first half and was only a yellow card

Kane is a bit of a scumbag on the park who gets away with murder due to being England captain.

He is by far the worst offender of that not jumping for a headed ball to buy a freekick, which sends the defender head/shoulder first into the ground. Dangerous play by the attacker but they always get the freekick.

Hickey scores again in Serie A, with a sweet strike with his RIGHT foot into top corner from outside the box. Now overtaken Joe Jordan as 3rd highest Scottish scorer in Serie A. Apparently 7 defenders have scored 4 or more goals this season in Europe’s top 5 leagues but Hickey the only teenager. Not 20 until next June. A big move awaits?

Fraser will need Steve Clarke not to be Scotland manager for him ever to get a sniff.
