Cooper with another solid performance. Leeds have looked alot better since his return. Would be good if he can stick around til hes 35/36 as we usually struggle for centre backs playing at a high level. Hes going to be a big player for us in these upcoming games.

Yeah no coincidence leeds are shipping less goals since Cooper came back from injury.  He was superb last night . Big test this weekend against Man City

What's the cut off, in your wee world?

Certainly a lot less than thirty. FFS he is not interested and why would he be? A Croyden born and bred lad lived and taught and brought up in England all of his life. Mates will all be English and his affinity is with England hence 30 times represented them.

And wee world? No there is quite a big world of Scots who all have dignity and respect those that make a stand to stick with their country of birth regardless of whether it means no international football for him. At least he has integrity.

Declan Rice? He played full international for ROI. Did he pin his colours to the ROI mast then? Not even up for debate because im pretty certain most would disagree.

Not thirty times he didn't over the space of more than five years. Livramento chose England as a schoolboy and has not waivered from that stance. Good on him I say for having integrity.

According to you Che Adams wasn't interested in playing for us either, but evidently that turned out not to be the case.

If the SFA have approached Livramento and he's told them to bolt then he won't get picked and that's the end of it, but it's not clear if any of that's happened.

I don't really see what's embarrassing about fans wanting their team to have better players either, football message boards are full of discussions along those lines.

People have different levels of integrity. Evidence is Livramento has integrity. He chose England and why wouldn't as he was born, raised, educated and has mates there and has played all of his life there. He made that decision as a schoolboy and even his Scottish mum bending his ear all of his life has not changed his mind. Even a recent article discussing his international status he showed no signs of switching and why would or should he? Even his dad who is Portuguese and wants him to play for Portugal has not swayed his mind.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see some new faces in the June squad.

With varying levels of knickerwetting from some sections of the Scottish support, we are likely to see some if not all of Angus Gunn, Matt Targett & Tino Livramento change their allegiance at some point.

Robert the Bruce switched sides more often...probably not scottish enough for you though

So in your opinion Rice didnt think of himself as Irish despite him playing 20 times for their non full international teams and then a further 3 times for their full team?

So Che Adams couldnt have nailed his colours to the English mast as he only played for England U20s twice.

Matt Targetts fine as he has only played 22 times for England unders and 5 times for Scotland unders so he must still be allowed to have not made his mind up yet.

As I said it is all about integrity. Some players have it and some don't. Remember there have been stacks of other players over the years spoken about changing allegiance who never did. Integrity shown there.

No, your point was that once someone has opted to play for a country that many times that they pinned their colours to the mast on who they feel their affinity for.

Those were your exact words. So Declan Rice has made it clear that his affinity is for ROI. Not up for debate as you say. And yet he happily plays for England and is talked about as being a future England captain and nobody down south seems to care too much.

You talk about nationality like its black and white. Like you can only feel one thing. That somebody can tell your nationality from the outside without having ever met you just from looking at your actions. Lifes more complicated than that.

Most humans emotionally develop as they grow up. What somebody thinks when they are 15-18 is often not how they feel when they reach mid 20s. Younger people are much more influenced by their friends. So perhaps some players represent one country because they arent confident enough in themselves to select another at that age. Perhaps they play for England youth because they got selected but werent asked by Scotland and just thought it was an honour to play football at that level. Perhaps they hated Scotland and loved England but as they got older realised that Scotland was a bigger part of them than they realised.

Or perhaps they wanted to play for England as they are the better football team but realised as time went on that it was unlikely due to ability but still wanted to play at the highest level they could so then opted for Scotland.

Does it really matter as long as they give 100% and are eligable within the rules?

There are an awful lot of assumptions there.  How do you know his mum bent his ear all his life to play for Scotland, has he come out and said so?  Maybe she just bent his ear about doing his homework and tidying his room, like most mums.

Integrity is a commendable quality but has it ever won a football match?  We're competing with countries who use the rules to their advantage - we'd be stupid to limit ourselves just for the sake of "integrity". Football is a game, at the end of the day.

And quite right too, we should strive for the strongest squad we can possibly assemble.

Our qualifying record over the past two decades has been dismal. If players like the ones you've mentioned want to play for us and they're better than what we already have, get them in.

Darren Fletcher’s son (at Man City) apparently playing for England Under 15s today

Surely thats just convenience more than anything. If he makes it as a top player darren will push him towards us. Fletcher was dedicated as they come to scotland.

Bournemouth 3-0 down, Christie comes off and they draw 3-3 😬

More worrying, Wales striker Kieffer Moore has returned from injury and scored 2 goals for Bournemouth…….
That’s them got a player back that wasn’t available back in March when all the PlayOffs should have been finished

McKenna playing on the left of a back three in a win over the league leaders tonight.

This could be one hell of a season for mckenna. Forest are 3rd only 3 points behind 3nd place Bournemouth. They play each other next week.

Mckenna is one of the first names on the forest team sheet too.

No he stated in an online article that his mum had been wanting him to play for Scotland.

You are correct as in are others that other countries do it and it is rife across the world. There is no denying that. Does that mean I or others have to be happy with that? No certainly not.

So is it inconvenient to play for Scotland? I don't buy it. He should never be allowed near an engerland jersey.. If he turns out as good, or better than his father, engerland will already have a foot in the door and be all over him.. Fuck sake.!!
