neilser
Decent article by former Labour MP David Marquand making the point that the idea of 'Britain' as a nation state is total guff. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/jan/13/britain-doesnt-really-exist-exit--eu

EddardStark
Just what have the Brexit negotiation team been doing for the last 7 months? They were supposed to be developing a strategy to take to the table. You really get the impression this government are totally clueless when on how to deal with Brexit. This is nothing short of a massive bluff and it is called by the other 27 countries then the May is up shit creak,
Alibi
I see Angus Robertson has stated (on twitter I think) that forcing a hard brexit on Scotland is "unacceptable". I think a lot of waverers will agree with him and if this is confirmed it will lead to rising support for indy. What sort of spineless individual would stand for their nation being forced into a hard brexit against our wishes and not say "enough is enough"? That is until the tariffs kick in to hike the price up and then the price the fishermen get drops as the processors costs go up as they can no longer get East Europeans in to work for 50p an hour. Aye theres truth in what yer saying,, prices have been brilliant since brexit,, solid as a rock,,,, however theres is a very realistic chance the industry will take a battering post brexit,, especially if the status quo(cfp) is kept in exchange for deals for other industries while there are tariffs on exports,,,, the norgies will be praying for this to happen,,,uncertain times thats for sure,,,, but they think the streets will be paved in gold,,,if you want to see the mentality of a lot of the skippers go on the face book page,,, fishing onwards to brexit,,,, nutters
