macy37
So the accusations of Hearts players trying to get players carded isn't him greetin? Why mention it? It's part of the game, it's part of every teams game? He should have not commented as it's not worthy of comment. Aberdeen are heading for another trophyless season. They've been in a position to make the number 2 spot theirs for last 3 years and have done poorly in terms of silverware return or even getting into the position to get silverware return which given their resources is disgraceful. Kenneth Farrington
Clocked the Hearts v Aberdeen game was on, but it was the women's darts final on 2 & that was a pretty big story, so only clocked the fitba when that finished. Decent win for Hearts, but should have been more comfortable from the highlights. First & probably last I'll see of Aberdeen this season. Maybe I just didn't see them at their best, but I won't be rushing to catch them again.

Bzzzz
What's he said that wrong? The daily record have only added a snippet of mcinnes's post match comments and then made an entire article out of it. He hasn't blamed hearts for the loss but he's right about us keeping possession. There was nothing wrong with that hearts player so they can't blame us for not giving the ball back. What's he said that wrong? Was very poor by the Dons players, anyone would be greetin if that happened to them in a game.

I think most if not all teams a goal down in the last minute of a cup tie would not give the ball back when no physio called on and the 'injured' player remained on the pitch. It was a fairly blatant attempt to waste time imo. On a slightly different tangent there seems to be a rule in Scotland where 4 mins in the maximum added time unless a serious injury has happened. Watching games from down south I regularly see 5, 6 or minutes added. Wigan game the other night had 6 minutes in which a goal was scored - they ended up playing 8 minutes which to be fair seemed excessive but the referee was obviously making it clear that he wasn't standing for timewasting in added time. The hearts player knew it was the final minute and dropped to the ground to waste time and break up the flow of the game. He tried to cheat. The aberdeen players were completely correct in not letting the cheating work.
Toepoke
Killy goal keeper had a stand out game. Was he MOM. Great result for killy who could do with a cup run to generate some cash. Correct on both points, however it's Killie, you Sillie Billie...
iainmac1
Why is it we get decent highlights on a Saturday night when it's the Scottish cup but the premier league highlights are total pish in comparison and on a Sunday night.
slasher
Watched sportscene last night after the jambos/sheep game. Brilliant stuff! The boy El Bakhtaoui was outrageously good for Dunfermline, thought Joe Cardle was terrific as well. Ive always thought Cardle could play at a higher level but I guess he's not consistent enough to cut it. The other matches were great...pure riddy for Accies down at Annan and some great goals. Good to see the jambos well up for another big game at Tynie after having a real go at my team a couple of weeks back. Aberdeen were feckin rank in the first half especially. If todays games are half as entertaining we're in for a treat....doubt it tho.

Aberdeen were 100% correct to attack when Hearts put the ball out when it was clear they were time wasting.
dipped flake
Of course he didn't. Usual trolls making a James Hunt of themselves as per usual. He defended Hearts robust style last month and said he had no problem with it when perhaps he could have had a dig. Pretty sure his main comments yesterday were regarding our own shortcomings. Others though like to blame everyone but themselves. . So you never clicked the link where he greets about the Hearts players and managers??? Pity he didn't have a quarter of the class of our manager but it must be hard when your season has just finished☺

Toepoke
because the BBC pay peanuts for the league contract so are only allowed to show a few minutes of highlights I've never seen a full explanation why, is it down to the contracts Sky/BT have with the SPFL? A welcome change on a Saturday night, but could've done with more than 38 seconds of Saints v Killie!

Aye he's some player El Bakhtaoui when he's on his game, saw them v Cowdenbeath at the start of the season and he was excellent but last week he was invisible. I said after the first game the Pars would win that division easily, still stand by that.

If they do it semi makes sense that the BBC have the dregs package. If not then I don't see why the league don't allow them to show extended highlights on a Saturday night. They are stopping promotion of their own league.
Pool Q
Really enjoyable game last night, Hearts were as good as Aberdeen were bad. Love games at Tynecastle under the lights. No idea why Aberdeen were so bad, having seen them play us off the park not that long ago. Really impressed with Hearts, played some good stuff, although (as with Dundee Utd recently) we really should finish teams off when we have the chance, and avoid nervy ends to the game.
