  1. The Rangers fans are never slow at insisting the SFA are 'corrupt to the core'. This is a chance to get to the bottom of what happened & hopefully force changes at the SFA. Strange they are so dead against it being looked at.
  2. Ha ha ha ha - I mind that well! Was sorry to hear about the TAMB. Haven't followed it in ages, so don't know what it's been like, but it was fair going downhill when I was last on. Still, will only ever remember it fondly. Many a laugh me & Soarsa / Fat Man / Flora MacDonald used to have coming back from the boozer on a Friday afternoon & winding folk up. Also met loads of good folk via the TAMB either on away trips or when folk used to get together for a few pints in town. Times have moved on, but the TAMB was brilliant back in the day for away trips & it's just a shame it's lost its way more recently.
  3. Yeah, that's what I meant. It's not being wise after the event - that was always asking for trouble. That said, I didn't think for a second they'd be in this bother! Unless Utd find title winning form from nowhere, I can't see any way out.
  4. Damage was already done at the start of the season for Utd. That Polish boy in goal was alarm bells stuff. I hope not, but Utd look down.
  5. Stokes is probably a better striker than anyone outwith Griffiths at Celtic, so I assume this isn't to do with his ability on the pitch. He certainly seems to want to play, so it looks a good move on paper. I was amazed to read today that Feruz had left Hibs - I didn't even know he was there! Did he play / what was he like? I can't pretend not to be happy his career looks like going down the shitter!
  6. Brown's always been what he is & he's still effective at it, but Thomson had way more to his game. Probably not fair to compare them as players, but it's just they were up & coming in that team at that time. RE Stokes, that's a hard one to call. If his attitude is right & he goes there wanting to prove a point / put himself in the shop window, that could be a great move for both. Flipside, he goes back to Hibs like Billy Big Baws - the results won't be good. Honestly, don't know what to make of thon.
  7. The first time I noticed him was when we beat Hibs 2-1 & JVOH scored the winner on his debut. Brown scored for Hibs, but Thomson ran the show & never wasted a pass. I remember boring the arse off everyone about how he was the better of the pair. Injuries pretty much called time on his career a few years ago, but back in his pomp, I'd still say I was right.
  8. Clocked the Hearts v Aberdeen game was on, but it was the women's darts final on 2 & that was a pretty big story, so only clocked the fitba when that finished. Decent win for Hearts, but should have been more comfortable from the highlights. First & probably last I'll see of Aberdeen this season. Maybe I just didn't see them at their best, but I won't be rushing to catch them again.
  9. Na, Moyes was an insane appointment IMO. If he didn't remind SAF of himself & was born elsewhere, he'd never have been looked at. When Mourinho was available, it made it all the more absurd. Don't get me wrong, I like Moyes & would love to see him at Celtic. I don't think it's outwith the realms he'd take the job. His stock is low down the road & a Championship job is just as likely now. However, we'd make it even more unattractive than it already is. In addition to having little money & having to sell your best players, Lawwell & Park tell you your back room staff & what players are being signed. Na, never a job for Moyes. We need a cheap, compliant Yes Man. We have the perfect man for the job just now.
  10. Agree with Eddard. Was baffled by the folk who thought Neville would be a success because he spoke well on Sky. Was always going to be a disaster. I'd go as far as to say Moyes at Utd. We'll sack Deila when we don't qualify for the CL next season. I'm certain we'll have another name to add to the list then!
  11. Why does EK want deleted so badly anyway? Was there a particular incident?
  12. EK, I reckon your best bet is to sign off from the TAMB & stop annoying yourself by looking at it again! Your issue seems a bit daft to me & I'm not sure posting about it for everyone to see is doing you any favours. Folk on here obviously love winding you up - don't give them the satisfaction mate. Loads of other boards you can actually enjoy posting on - surely that's what it's all about? I always like your posts, but just my thoughts from the outside✌
  13. The Canavans 43 service between Kilsyth & Cumbernauld is grim. I have the misfortune of using it to get to Croy station, but it's depressing. In the morning, it's full of tramps who get forced to go to Cumbernauld college. At night, you get tinks who've been drinking up the Town Centre. You generally welcome the better class of person when getting the choo, but Shitrail even it up with never being on time.
  14. I knew they started it & ran out of money, but I thought they said they were scaling it down to get it finished. Haven't heard much about it in ages - assume it's just been left then? They spent an absolute stack in the summer. One of the most insane deals ever was agreeing a fee £20m for Negredo when they loaned him last season & hardly features now. Given where they finished last season & the money spent this time around, they should be looking to close the gap on Real & Barca. Hardly looks likely now!
  15. Is the Valencia owner not something to do with Salford as well? Seems a bonkers appointment on the face of it. Valencia's squad is mainly Spaniards, Portuguese & Argentinians. I wonder how they'll adapt to a more "British" style of coaching (especially after Moyes was such a hit). Assume the backroom staff will be filled with more Class of 92 & old Man Utd coaches with some spare time on their hands. This will be a disaster.
  16. Don't know what 80 games you get, but surely worth 40 quid:- http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3816789.htm?cmpid=COJUN&catalogId=10001&cjsurferid=411302476757670445%3AbgBEEw7SB4aU&_%24ja=tsid%3A11674%7Cprd%3A7752962&storeId=10151&referredURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.argos.co.uk%2Fstatic%2FProduct%2FpartNumber%2F3816789.htm&referrer=COJUN
  17. I got the Mega Drive Collection for my PS3 a few years ago - brought back some great memories! Sonic still stands up amazingly well. Jungle Strike, Sensible Soccer, Speedball 2 & Road Rash were my favourite games. Evander Holyfield Real Deal Boxing is also one that sticks out, even though it got badly reviewed at the time. The way Sega went about marketing the Mega Drive changed gaming & made it cool - remember all the celebrities who appeared on Gamesmaster! I'd say it's still the greatest thing ever made.
  18. Hamilton wearing a France strip today. And I thought the EPL attention seeking was bad enough.
  19. Jez & Super Hans gave each other BJs when they were wasted a few series back. Jez, was also wanking the Orgazoid a while back. It's fair to say he has a bit of previous!
  20. It's pointless even discussing the subject. IMO, it's only right that people have concerns about who comes into the UK in the current climate, but if you have that view, you get labelled a UKIP / BNP voting racist.
  21. He was the first player to make rugby exciting for me. I only ever watched Scotland v England games back in the day, but you couldn't wait to see him getting the ball & start running. Reminds me of the impact Ronaldo (the real one) had when he came on the scene - you'd never seen anything like it. Seemed like a fine lad as well off the pitch, so it's a real shame.
  22. Charles Endell always maintained Netowrk Rail were responsible for loads of stuff First got the blame of & that Abellio wouldn't be any better. I, for one, will listen to him in future.
