Bino's
him and brown should be the guaranteed starters at Wembley making Fletcher captain just made it more difficult to drop a player in decline
Dairbee
Watched Bannan run the show at the Ipro this afternoon. He did get all the time and space in the world however, and he makes Wednesday tick. Great range of passing. He never gave up and did a power of work tracking back. Fletcher went off with a bad head knock not long after coming on. Wouldnt be surprised if he was signed off with concussion for a few weeks. Makes it more likely that the on form and on fire Chris Martin will start against England.
Dairbee
He took a head knock that required 5 mins of treatment, came back on for 30 secs and tried to run it off. He then sat down in the centre circle and got subbied. He did walk off, a bit gingerly..... Shame, I was looking forward to see what sort of form he was in. kmcca5
Russel Martin was Norwich's worst player as Brighton pumped them 5 - 0 Dorrans was poor as well.
killiefaetheferry
Hutton starts for Villa away to Birmingham in the derby.
ErsatzThistle
McCormack off the bench for Villa. Greg Stewart on the bench for City. Che Adams that's playing up front for them is supposedly eligible to play for Scotland.

That could be useful for us as it looks like we could be calling on him against England considering that Robertson and Tierney are out. That's a strange comment as Hutton has never played left back.

noctonjock
Maybe at fault for Malta"s goal but it didnt cost us in the end . Just my opinion that Bardsley is a better full back than either Paterson or Hutton

Not really sure how blame can go to him. Fair enough on the opinion.. he's playing at a higher level, that's for sure.
Chesney TA
Patterson wasn't great in any of the games but not particularly bad either. Bardsley is a better player.

Martin never once looks behind him to see what's going on, just watches the ball and ends up leaving Paterson to try and come across and cover for him. Paterson was never going to stop the guy as he was the wrong side of him as it should have been Martin covering. Very poor.
PASTA Mick
Gordon, Brown, Armstrong, Forrest, McGregor and Henderson all played tonight in a decent draw in Germany. Brown was probably our best player again.

I thought despite giving the ball away a couple of times, Armstrong was pretty good and will get better with games. He is incisive and tries to make things happen. Yes a great result for a Scottish side playing against bundesliga opposition in a one off game....I mean what would Scotland give for a player that was featuring for a competitive bundesliga side.........oh wait. (Smashes fist through pc screen in rage when strachan doesn't name Burke tomorrow in squad).
