Anyone who thinks playing 2 centre forwards automatically makes a team more attacking, doesn't understand football tactics very well.

Correct. Spain showed in Euro 2012 that they can make a no-striker formation be an attacking one. (Yes they've got the players for it before anyone says it).

Is he getting back to the form he showed at United? If so he may be an option?

He was outstanding last week at Tynecastle. He needs about 20 games like that before he should be considered for Scotland though!

Strikers score goals and win games, think strachan needs to consider all on form strikers as Flecther ( steven)has done he-haw this campaign.

Great stuff from McCormack tonight, but let's not kid ourselves that he could replace Fletcher.

He won't and he can't.

Two totally different players stylistically.

Strachan is loyal to his players and up until Tiblisi that loyalty has been rewarded.

Time to shuffle the pack up front or stick with the status quo?

I have never been a big fan of McCormack, but always thought he was a decent squad player, however Fletcher isnt up to it either.

An asset as a squad player for sure, no contest and rightly so.

But not an option as a lone striker (up top).

Naismith would be better in that position, and then only if we absolutely have to.

Aye McCormack is twice the player that Fletcher is.

Fletcher is absolute gash and should not be included

Fletcher is a fantastic forward. Granted he is going through a rough patch of form but he is by far and away the best we have up top, in form, and even off form is still better than our other options. His link up is essential to how we play. To say he is gash is quite simply indicative of someone who does not understand football. I await the goals to games ratio.

Looking at Jordan Rhoads and Ross McCormack scoring records it's mental we don't have them in far more squads. Two proven goal scorers and not to use them is criminal. Hope they both get call ups to the squad ta least.
