  1. In general Polish trains are shocking but the Warsaw to Krakow line is the best in the country by a mile. My other half is Polish and I've travelled all over the country on trains. Soul destroying doesn't come close. I've taken the chance and booked Krakow, if it's not there then train it has to be.
  2. Not sure which route you took but I've done it many times and it was 2 hrs 40 mins last time.
  3. Did you expect anything else from a club that have never had or will ever have any class, morals or integrity?
  4. Aye, Pedro squirmed having been shown up. Well done Sutton for calling him out. He'll be sacked by Christmas without a shadow of doubt.
  5. Fletcher isn't there to be a guaranteed starter but an old head to bring on if needed. He has been class in the games I've seen this season. He is also someone who the young players in the squad can learn from and is almost like another coach. It's just typical of our support that players like this get treated the way they do. He is in a long list going back many years. Our support even boo their own players before they have even kicked a ball. Im with Strachan 100% and I think that other than McGregor he has picked about the strongest squad he could.
  6. Me too. I think he is a cracking player.
  7. I think the fact that 9 Scottish players played for Celtic today is a good thing. That 5 came through their youth set up and are being given a chance is also very promising. Hopefully we'll start seeing many more Scottish kids being given a chance throughout the league.
  8. It won't though? People just haven't thought this through. They appear to believe there are thousands going to away game but not home games. Thats not so. I know a few people who would suddenly go from 0 to 10 points on the new system but haven't been to any games home or away for several years. They didn't want to lose their memberships but were happy to buy home tickets for non SSC members to go with the rest of a group. The SSC wouldn't discourage this as they want to sell tickets and don't care who buys them so people like you would probably fall further behind if others who do go to most games did the same for home games they didn't attend. Can't be policed fairly so will give the wingers something more to cry about when they learn that in reality they still won't get any closer to away tickets without going to enough away games.
  9. Beardsley signed for Burnley. Don't see him getting called up again anyway but still a good player.
  10. I saw some of it and it's a dreadful quality. If the winner of this tournament was allowed to play in the bottom division in Scotland they wouldn't even get 1 point over a whole season.
  11. Is there still spaces? Looking for 3 seats.
  12. Christophe Berra has been released by Ipswich.
  13. Armchair keyboard warriors don't go to games, too busy typing I've only met a couple of people over the years home or away that I've wondered why they bother if they hate it that much. FB and on here though is rife with negativity about everything.
  14. I think you'll find 4 or 5 comments on Social media or the Tamb doesn't really represent the majority of our support. I know around 20 or so 10 pointers and they don't miss any game home or away. A few even go to most U21s home and away too. For me the fixture dates and times could be better but I still found a way to get to both games. £100 flight to Glasgow £50 hotel £40 ticket £### beer. Fly back to London Sunday then £200 for flights 2 nights in Slovakia not counting more beer money. £40 for a ticket to Hampden isn't much in the grand scheme of things.
  15. Donald Love scored for Sunderland U23s. He's playing in midfield too.
  16. No. Plenty of TA members who supported Scotland all over the world have passed away and we didn't have anything for them. So we certainly shouldn't for a Northern Irish guy.
  17. Exactly what I was going to say.
  18. When the England game comes there will be 100,000 people telling us that they haven't missed a game since 1970 and how unfair it is they can't get a ticket.
