Ffs when would you ever see James Forrest score a goal like that for Scotland or against a European club side. Not to mention the calamitous first Celtic goal. And when you see hearts level today you just can’t see any non old firm club winning anything for the forseeable.

The damage was certainly done in the Costa Rica match. Arguably the worst failure of the lot. Johnstone, Mcstay, mcinally and mccoist all had better than decent chances in the second half. We should have been home and hosed by the brazil match.

Ffs. I’d been reading folks recents comments on Armstrongs form on here and thinking how positive that would be. We just don’t have the squad depth imo and the euros will be absolute cut throat. I really think it’s going to another embarrassment for us.

It really grinds with me that, forgetting England for a moment, Wales got out their group twice in the last 2 euros (with relative ease), Ni done at 82 and done at euro 2016 whilst Roi have managed a World Cup quarter final, got out their groups usa 94 and 2002 and also done it in 2016… We’re a fkin embarrassment in comparison.

Have to admit my excitement for the euros has rapidly decreased in the last few weeks with the recent results and injuries starting to mount. There will be more injuries to come before the seasons out to key players I’d be willing to bet. I really thought Ferguson was going to make a big impact and I genuinely thought this was our moment to get out of the group when we qualified but I’d be surprised if we get anything more than 1 point the way things are which will be another disaster - we cannot afford not to get out of the group stages, I believe we possibly hold a record in that respect. Feels like things are hanging by a thread.

I’m a bit dumbfounded about what’s happened to this team. The preparation for euros is completely f*ked. When we qualified I felt this team was ready to get out the group. Yes we have better calibre players than we’ve had in a long time but they are still not good enough for the teams we are going to face. I can’t see anything other than 3 defeats and probably a couple of hammerings because the confidence is now shot to pieces.

So unbelievably frustrating this.

Just a note on N.I, early signs O’Neil is getting a tune out of them again like his first spell. Ended their euro campaign with a statement 2-0 win v Denmark at home and looked quite strong in that game.Obvs a clean sheet away to Romania the other night. Hopefully we’re not hitting them at wrong time as for me we simply have to win and win well.

The new colour combination on the new top totally makes me think of this track top from early 90s. Starting to grow on me now. As others have mentioned think the top will be popular depending on teams success.

It’s the age old problem, I bet Souttar strolls through domestic games playing for the old firm but essentially gets found out when playing up a level as not use to it.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned in the media much but that defending from Motherwell for Idah’s 2 goals was utterly horrific. idah’s scoring stats in English championship plus 1 EPL goal are equally horrific. He now has 4 goals in 4 games now for Celtic. A move to the old firm is the easiest money you’ll ever make in your life.

There’s an increasing chance McGinn will break both the cap and goal record… Robertson won’t be far off him in terms of caps and I predict both will reach over 100.

Looked like such a different player when in the Celtic jersey compared to Motherwell where he was given so much freedom and seemed the complete opposite at Celtic. Lost so much game time the last few years. If played correctly reckon he could do very well for Cardiff.
