If my memory is correct that would be another two years. I'll admit it does feel good to have some stability, here's hoping the performances warrant keeping him till 2026 if not longer. There have been some very disappointing performances and results ( 2 home games in Euros, play off against Ukraine) but in general the good has outweighed the bad. He did with Austin McPhee and uncoincidentally we started doing far better at set pieces. Little changes like that can make a big difference over a campaign. Has us winning more consistently than any time in the last 20 odd years, and winning more than we have in recent decades against teams we should beat. We will all now when his tenure has run its course, and that would be if it becomes evident that he's taken the squad as far as it can go. The timing does seem a bit odd, if it all goes tits up tomorrow they could look a bit silly. Think they should've waited til mid qualifying at least. There are better coaches out there that Steve Clarke but are there many that would take the Scotland job and stick with it for a few years? The last time we started a euros campaign it was the disaster in Kazakhstan.
