For me they're big old units and being down to 14 may have knackered them out.

We really need the Boks to beat Ireland now. If Ireland beat SA then a win for us over Ireland might not evn be enough to get through. To be honest, I can't see us beating Ireland. We just constantly make far too many unforced mistakes. Other teams make mistakes as well but not nearly as many as us.

I'm not going to try to blame the "red card" incident. That decision didn't make us fail to score when we had a two man overlap and it only required a simple pass. We could have had a three or four man overlap and failing to make that pass would have had the same result. That decision didn't make our line outs a total shambles either.

Refereeing in the Wales Fiji game is wank too - he's saved Wales conceding 2 tries including a no arms tackle and given them 25 goes at being offside.  First offence by Fiji in the next attack equals yellow card.

Yes the draw was a total farce. And yes we are out if we do not finish in the top two.

The draw was made far too long ago (around a year ago) when the rankings were far, far different which in turn buggered up the seedings for the draw. At the time of the draw England and Wales had not went on a bad run of results yet, Australia had not slipped into oblivion and other countries have climbed up the rankings like us. It made the seedings totally erroneous. The WRC, as a result, are apparently going to review the date of the draw for next time around which is of no use to us now.

I thought the draw was actually made 3 years ago which is completely mental.

I believe they are not doing this again though for next tournaments.

I’m watching a lot of the free to view , which is all of it. 
today has been cracking. The Georgia v Portugal was a rare draw with both teams missing kicks in the last few minutes to win outright. Wonderfully contested with a lot of supporters of especially Portugal enjoying it.

this South Africa v a United Ireland side is great . I think this Ireland side will win the tournament. Obvs , only if they win this

. Are there other international sports teams that include a sovereign nation state AND a bit of another sovereign nation state? Or is it like the football and we’re a bit special in the United Kingdom and Ireland!
