That decision didn't make us fail to score when we had a two man overlap and it only required a simple pass. We could have had a three or four man overlap and failing to make that pass would have had the same result. That decision didn't make our line outs a total shambles either. The draw was made far too long ago (around a year ago) when the rankings were far, far different which in turn buggered up the seedings for the draw. At the time of the draw England and Wales had not went on a bad run of results yet, Australia had not slipped into oblivion and other countries have climbed up the rankings like us. It made the seedings totally erroneous. The WRC, as a result, are apparently going to review the date of the draw for next time around which is of no use to us now. I thought the draw was actually made 3 years ago which is completely mental. I believe they are not doing this again though for next tournaments.
