What if the Russians started sending advanced weapons to people who are fighting 'us'? For example if the Yemen rebels suddenly got advanced Russian manpads (and that is not male sanitary device). The west is in a lot of different conflicts around the world and the Russians have excellent missile technologies that could tip a lot of them against 'us'. So it is a dangerous game we are playing sending weaponry even. I totally agree with this. The "best" Ukraine can hope for is that Russia doesn't win because they are never going to lose. And not winning just means years of destruction and death. Ukraine cannot win as far as I can see. This whole thing of arming everyone who wants it is sheer suicide and just creating cannon folder. If NATO become involved then the risks to Europe and indeed the planet don't bear thinking about. I just cannot see a good outcome from this whatever we do.
