Assange is/was a Russian asset, much like yourself. I believe Murray seems to be mentally ill (also like yourself) and also possibly an asset but don’t give anything he says the time of day.

Last time I checked being a journalist doesn’t give you license to jump bail when facing charges of rape.

Yep, poor translation really is the most awful thing that the Russians are doing right now.

I wasn’t saying that. I was pointing out how hard it is to understand what is actually being said

If the Ukrainians accidentally hit the plant in their fighting the Russians do you honestly think they would admit it? Of course not, we are in a war and they would blame it on Russia. But that does not mean it was not the Russians. If this is not a false flag attack I am almost certain that this will be accidental whoever fired the shell (if that is what it was). I am not trusting anything like this until it is properly confirmed (and I don't mean by Snopes FFS). There is so much misinformation flying about it is unreal. Look at all the incidents they have already lied about. I have seen a bunch of stuff I could have posted on here but I am not trusting any of it. It really is true that the first casualty of war is truth. We are living the truth of it. It was bad during Iraq but this is different level again. World War level.

Yup. There is actually more truth in the Nazi    claims than the weapons of mass destruction ones yet we think the Russian people are the only ones being lied to or sucked in.

Ignore Mr Snarky. I agree I was watching something on one of the UK news channels and the translation was so bad (almost incoherent) I concluded it had to be deliberate. The translations on RT are usually much better (not surprisingly). Banning Russian media and them mistranslating them on our own... got to control that narrative somehow it seems.

I am convinced it is deliberate too. Communication is a hugely important tool and when it is incoherent it only adds to the difficulties of getting to the truth

Anyone who knows about the Assange case knows he is being persecuted for revealing US war crimes.

Your answer above is a perfect example of your hypocrisy, double standards and lies. All three, right there on full display.

It is no accident you want him jailed for revealing war crimes, because here you are, spittle flying, as you push for another war based on lies. That is word that comes up a lot. Quite the the little imperialist and very typical of the Sturgeon SNP these days, sadly.

Never thought of like that but very true... a lot more truth versus a pack of lies.

Very little nuance and ambiguity in bombing nuclear power stations though.

Maybe you could answer the simple questions I asked you.

Other news outlets, including Deutsche Welle, Meduza and Radio Liberty - have also had access to their services limited, Russia's state-owned news agency RIA says.

Russia's parliament has passed a law making it an offence to spread "fake" information about the armed forces.

The Kremlin objects to the conflict being called a war, instead calling it a "special military operation".

Seems everyone is playing the restriction game at some level.

No spittle flying - perfectly calm and rational here -  whereas you are acting like a demented Bette Davis trapped in a hellhole of your own making.

oh, and it’s not a war - it’s an invasion. It’s been ongoing for over a week. And only you pushed for it.

Which only goes to support my point about the importance of communication.

No and particularly not the government. As I said before, work out the sources you think are trustworthy and then test what they say with your own knowledge and experience to establish whether or not you think it’s credible or not.

You don’t seem to trust *any* source and don’t believe what anyone is telling you.  Everyone can’t be lying all the time, you need to work out the difference for yourself.
