norsefox
Went to the Fulham Reading game today. Was excited to see Cairney and McCormack together. McCormack was streets ahead of every other player on the pitchy. Cairney on the other hand was utterly unremarkable. Definitely not terrible, but some distance short of our current midfield options. I'd absolutely want Strachan to look at players like McLeod, McLean, Jack and Henderson - all young and promising. On a side note, also massively unimpressed by the level of football on show. Granted they play at a 100mph but championship players offer very little above your standard SPL players.

Don't you know that our league stands alone in its awfulness and can't be favourably compare to any other league - no less the enlightened and wholly fantastic Championship down south. Away and have a we lie down and then spend a day chanting " the SPFL is dross and light years behind any other league" before coming back on here. Honestly. wanderer
I see after a poor start that Jordan Archer has firmly established himself as Millwalls No. 1 keeper and has seen their results improve with them just outside the play off spots in League One. Guest allyc
Does it??diddiness yes but most teams from the lower half of the top leagues would struggle pre season going to the likes of Georgia,Romania and Croatia.west ham were mins away from being turfed out by a team from Malta.then eventually list to the team that knocked caley out by the odd goal.Aberdeen won in Croatia.it is not easy for anyone to negotiate these rounds. Hertsscot
I was at Hull on Sat. McGregor did what he had to, made one excellent save when it was still 0-0. Robertson was very good second half and it was his run from deep within his own half that set up Hull's second. Birmingham however did cause a few problems defensively down his flank in the first half and five/ten minutes in he was guilty of switching off and playing a daft square ball cross the box that nearly let Birmingham in and led to a few mutterings amongst the home support. Cameo appearance from Maloney at the end, didn't really have time to make an impression.
