At U Peter
If Rangers win the playoff is that the 'crisis' over? I'll tell you next year, maybe.
thplinth
Well how much does a new squad cost, plus a new manager? One good enough to get up in first place. Dave King's cheque book is going to take a beating this summer. Assuming of course he is not a bullshit artist. (Plus still waiting on him paying off Ashley. I am sure he will, he can't be that much of pisstaker...)

Bino's
St mirren with a decent manager, hibs with a decent manager, qos, Falkirk.....what are the odds on them even getting up next season
johnnie x
At least they don't have to pay Ashley 500k for the Newcastle 5 promotion clause.
tartandon
If Hibs can hold onto their squad and sign a decent striker, I would take them for automatic promotion. The Rangers bet the house on getting 3 successive promotions - they paid out on bumper 3 year contacts for the majority of their squad. These contracts will now be expiring and it will be interesting to see their transfer business in the summer.
fishcumnock
The expiring contracts will actually help rangers,IMHO.

tartandon
At least they don't have to pay Ashley 500k for the Newcastle 5 promotion clause. That 500K is still small change in relation to the retail deal. Uncle Phil reckons it would cost £33m for The King to buy out the retail contracts. I'd suggest they'll spend a fraction of that on lawyers and will prove that there was (at best) undue influence when the contract was signed. giblet
One good thing I suppose is that they can get folk like Black, Boyd and Shiels off their books. Kenny Miller though played enough games to activate a further year in his contract. Must be a chance of someone coming in for Wallace now? Fairbairn
Must be a chance of someone coming in for Wallace now? Aye, Montrose or Alloa most likely.

Wasted career because he should have 20+ caps now.
giblet
Wallace could easily play Championship football down South.
PASTA Mick
Wallace could easily play Championship football down South. Maybe but whenever I've seen him against Premiership sides over the last 2/3 years he's looked rank. He'd have to seriously up his game.
