Nigel Pearson already telling their fans he'll not be starting v Leeds at the weekend and that he needs to be eased back in. Not surprised he's not been called up in the circumstances. He won and scored the penalty in the 1-1 with Norway in June for the U21's. Talks well about trying to impress Steve Clarke. Before his injury he was touting himself for the England game and saying it would be a dream come true to score the winner against them. Differs from the likes of Anderson in nailing his colours to the mast publically.
