The Tories jeered Blackford and the speaker reprimanded Blackford for nothing more than telling the truth Here it is https://fb.watch/aHXFbellvG/ ‘Any Conservative and Unionist Prime Minister will be better for Scotland than the Scottish Nationalist Party ‘ . Meh, you still think that Theresa ? The warnings were there all along with Johnson. How on earth did anyone think he was capable of holding this position? The racist fooker orchestrated her downfall yet she was still prepared to support him against Blackford’s comments. And what is it about Tory Prime Ministers that they struggle to even grasp the name of the SNP ? Their disrespect to Scottish democracy is beyond the pale. Ally Bongo
It is only natural that if you have oversaw the highest covid death rates in the EU you would run with "It's not actually Covid that's killing people"

Squirrelhumper
2 years on and they are stlll making it up as the go along. 2 weeks ago you couldnt get 600 folk at Partick vs Killie, then one week of checking 50% of the crowd covid status and now 1 week later that's now been scrapped. Happy it's gone but you need to ask why they made clubs like killie check 2500+covid apps on Saturday with the extra staff needed then a week later just ditch the idea. That prick is going to survive this fiasco, he is far too relaxed . The report will stop short of sufficient direct blame and even if there are enough letters of no confidence submitted there are more shitebag Tory MPs who will support him. If he survives, there will still be a political stink lingering and following him everywhere. It may do more damage to the Tories in the long term. The government may limp on like John Major who got mired in sleaze. He was kicked out together with all Scottish Tory MPs and they didn't get back into power for 13 years. Also if he lingers, the Scots Tories will be in an awkward position, having called for him to go before the Gray report let him off the hook. They will face the Scottish electorate a divided party. Sadly politics has changed since the days of Major We have the same situation in the UK as the USA The Tory party are far more interest in gaining and retaining power than principles - and with the help of the right wing media Johnson is an election asset The Republican Party are the same with Trump In another lifetime well established political parties wouldnt let these arseholes anywhere near their leadership

Yes they are but in fairness the English media destroyed Corbyn along with the right wingers in his own party They know that the only way they will win power is to be Tory light and suck up to the same right wing media England is lost

The Tory party are only interested in attaining and retaining power, which is why they got rid of Thatcher when she became an electoral liability and is why they will do the same to Johnson when the time is right. if they still think that electorally he’s the best chance they have then they won’t The Republican Party, or rather their Governors, Senators and Congressmen are scared of Trump, or rather scared of what Trump’s supporters might do to them if they were to cross him. Trump has a base, god knows why, but it’s relatively large and very vocal and Republicans need that base to vote all the way down the ticket to beat the Democrats. Johnson doesn’t have a similar base, he may have done a good job of convincing white working class voters in the North and Midlands of England to vote for him in 2019 but he doesn’t have an ideological base in the same way it is with Trump. Once Johnson gets binned he’ll go the same way as Cameron and Blair, won’t stick around and will focus on making as much money as he can. Och Aye
The incredible thing AGAIN is how the public ask no questions of the media when the powers want rid of someone. Simple questions like who has been sitting on all this damning information of last years wrong doings before releasing it to the press or more than likely instructing the press when to release it, as they've obviously had the stories from the day it happened. I mean how the f#*k can you have so many piss ups in one of the most media covered buildings in the world without the press knowing. If memory serves me right there was no restrictions on reporters during lockdown.
