SkyBlueScot
Living in England I'm not able to follow domestic football as much as I'd like. It means I'm not completely aware of our future stars and cling excitedly to any new name. So over the past few months I've been keeping a list of players 23 and under who have been identified as prospects. Wondered what you thought. Which are the most likely? Any I should remove? Any obvious ones missing? (Please excuse errors). ceudmilefailte
Ryan Jack is 26 next month. and Jason cummings has produced zilch so far bit like McBurnie. You left out Ralston at Celtic, who some thought was good enough to play against Neymar and co before injury

Third Lanark
The fact that you could only find 2 strikers shows our real problem now. If Griffiths is injured we are stuffed. Tony Watt has imploded, as has Rhodes, Martin is getting on, Fletcher is injured. Are there no promising strikers coming through anywhere? daviebee
Liam Burt (I think), somewhere. Who was the young guy that played for Airdrie at about 15 and went to Wolves? Just disappeared? The guy Johnstone at Celtic that Ireland were supposedly sniffing after. I wonder why Craig Sibbald just seemed to stop progressing. Looked to be heading for the big time at one point - trials with Man U, etc.

Thought he was really good for the U17's and U19's, but he was one of a number of "good" young keepers we have coming through, with none really that out standing. His Brother on the other hand has been head and shoulders above everyone else from U17 level up wards, and though maybe a bit early just now, if he can keep his place in the Rangers team next season, he will certainly force his way into Eck squad plans by the time the Euro qualifiers come along. McBurnie has shown at youth level with Swansea that there is something there, but just every time I have seen him given a chance he has been a tad Bambi-ish. Always liked the look of Cameron and Sammut, but just a case of will they get chances at club level to progress (or turn up one weekend in 2 or 3 years time on Soccer Saturday scoring for Grimsby or Aldershot) Edited February 23, 2018 by wanderer
aaid
I saw Tom McIntyre play a pre-season game a couple of years ago. I was really impressed with him, especially as he was only sixteen and was playing against a team of senior non-league pros. I hadn't heard much of him and assumed he's gone his way but it sounds like he's missed quite a bit through injury. Good to see Reading have out him on an extended deal. https://thetilehurstend.sbnation.com/2018/1/3/16844978/tom-mcintyre-gabriel-osho-new-reading-fc-deals-royals-efl-championship-jaap-stam
