Angus_Young
Not so much the 'ex-Ranger' bit, rather than the fact that he threw away a possible international career to play against Scottish 3rd division teams, and now to apparently be 3rd choice at Ibrox. I presume he's happy with his wages though. No ambition, not even good enough for a starting place in a lower league team. Not good enough for Aberdeen. I think, even you knew, I wasn't being serious there. Edited January 12, 2016 by Angus_Young

AberdeenAngus
Definitely Rogers before Bell for me. Time to find out if Rogers has anything about him. Pretty poor for Aberdeen that most clubs have had at least 1 better permanent keeper than us since we last had 1 ( Peter Kjaer).
Squirrelhumper
I don't think we need a player that would rather waste his career playing against Berwick and Annan, rather than pursuing Scotland caps. Playing for Aberdeen is about 10 levels up from playing in front of nobody at Kilmarnock and Rangers reserves. I suspect most Dons fans would rather have Rogers back from Falkirk. 10 levels yet in past 20 years we've won more? You sound like a hun from the 90s more and more as each day passes. Second biggest budget in the league and papped out both cups early doors. Some level of success that.

He made a stupid decision based on money but he probably still has some talent somewhere in there. Shows how poor the dons set up is that they dont have another decent keeper

Angus_Young
Naismith to Norwich , thoughts ? I think a shrewd move by him and Alex Neil. I think it's a must for him. Good signing for them too. The guy puts absolutely everything into every game. Will definitely be an asset to a club like Norwich at the end of the season
fishcumnock
I was surprised ex England manager McLaren didn't bid ,they do need a striker .
Debian
Norwich off load Lewis Grabban for £7m to Bournemouth - who have signed, Benik Afobe (£12m) and Juan Iturbe from Roma on Loan (£6m loan fee), to pay for Naisy.

Angus_Young
offload guy who is not playing and get a striker for same cash? No brainer ! A quick look on wiki there shows just how mental it is down there. Bournemouth paid £300k for him in 2012, sold him to Norwich for £3M and are now buying him back for £7m......and he isn't even getting a game. Mind boggling. Rossy
I think, even you knew, I wasn't being serious there. I knew, I knew. I honestly don't care if he's a Rangers player. For what it's worth, I think the one keeper we've got left,,,Scott Brown...is utter rubbish, If Bell signs for Aberdeen, I'll obviously support him to the hilt. I just question his ambition as a footballer.
Redz
I just question his ambition as a footballer. Moving from Govan to Aberdeen shows ambition, surely

I don't know what he personally was getting, but I do know a couple of others, and they are/were astronomical. I've only seen Brown the once. It was the game where Scott Broon scored against him at the end of last season. Had a great game as I recall?

DoonTheSlope
Hibs to complete the loan signing of IRA loving, terrorist sympathising, money tapping ##### Anthony Stokes. It will be officially announced tomorrow (source Hibernian Retro) I personally can't stand the sight of the man myself if I'm being honest but goals are goals I suppose, and as Wee Gogsie Strachan once said "There's no morales in football"

EddardStark
Not checked back on the thread but rumors are Law and Clark are free to leave Rangers.. If true then its a pity. The former is definitely an important player for us.
