exile
Jim Murphy warns SNP against voting with the Tories or they'll end up destroyed in Scotland http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/jim-murphy-warns-snp-against-5379531
Orraloon
Sounds like panic stations for Murphy. The SNP need to make sure everybody knows the reason they brought down that Labour government was because they had denied us the Scottish Assembly which we had voted for. Swindon Rob
So can't help notice Mr Murphy has yet again gone down the very negative route of campaigning. The no campaign was a fear based one, and now he's come up with a 'don't vote for them because' campaign for the GE, amazing. Didn't hear much of 'vote for us because....' Thought he came across very poorly on sky news this morning, his views and his delivery.
Bzzzz
It's been the way since they lost their assumed right to power in 2007. They are just the party of hate now. Their jealousy and blind hatred of the SNP just clouds everything they do, all they can do is pump out spite and envy. Since McConnell was in charge they just reduced themselves to a pathetic, childish shower whose only input has been objection and petty insults and snide comments. I find it astonishing that ANYONE would waste their vote on them. You look at their MSPs over the last 7 years and it is no wonder they are in such dire straits. Gray, Murphy, Lamont, McConnell, Baillie, Dugdale, Sarwar.. not the slightest hint of a decent politician between them. Add in the shitebags from the rest of their party, Davidson, Brown, Darling, Hood, McDougal, McTernan etc etc what a revolting party!? why would ANYONE vote for them! ridiculous. That's all you can say about them, they're ridiculous. Add into all of this their behaviour through the referendum and well...
Stapes
And the black armband debacle is just the latest. Surely people will think they're mourning the demise of Labour in Scotland. http://wingsoverscotland.com/the-black-armbams/

Surely people will think they're mourning the demise of Labour in Scotland. http://wingsoverscotland.com/the-black-armbams/ What kind of stunt to wear black armbands for something (not involving actual mourning) that happened in 1979? If roughly or nearly half the Scottish electorate is sympathetic to independence and/or SNP, why are they likely to switch back due to this particular piece of tribal posturing? I think it might be like a final act of defiance before disappearing down the political plug hole. It's kinda like Rangers fans defiantly singing Rule Britannia and We Are The People as their club slowly sank into oblivion. We will know they have finally given up when they start singing the Reg Flag again.
northernscum
I think it's about high time the shadow cabinet made another day trip to Jockland to rally the troops. The Vow MkII (Labour only version) must surely be just around the corner. phart
Jim Murphy, the Labour party leader in Scotland, owns a property bought with help from the taxpayer just two miles from the Palace of Westminster, which he let out. He also owns a London flat in Lambeth, bought under the old expenses system, just a 15-minute walk from the houses of parliament. I had originally just put Murphy on, then noticed SNP so thought better put that on as well, as it was another Scottish MP. Stupid mistake by me.
