adamntg
Wait - why does McCulloch get to appeal even though Paton didn't, despite the "victim" proclaiming his innocence?
Bristolhibby
2 match ban, one immediately, and one for the first game in next seasons Cup. So 2 matches offered, chance your arm and still get 2 match ban. I thought being found guilty after appealing meant a worse punishment? So every team, now should appeal as bar costs theres nothing to lose. (have The Rangers paid the SFA the costs yet? Is that cash, no?) Fairbairn
Appeal failed apparently. 2 match ban starting tomorrow. That's us without Simonsen and McCulloch and apparently Moshni and Foster are injured. Hibs are getting puuuuumped!
ShedTA
Wait - why does McCulloch get to appeal even though Paton didn't, despite the "victim" proclaiming his innocence? er... because he plays for The Rangers Adam. basic stuff... Parklife
similarly I thought if you appealed and failed the punishment is usually increased? thats the whole point of the initial offer. I think an increase in ban is only given if the appeal is deemed "frivolous".
jailender
Apparently the ban can only be increased if the appeal is for a red card, not being offered a ban as happened with Mcculloch

Exactly it's like pleading guilty to a crime to get a lesser sentence. Or going to court where if you are found guilty the sentence will be worse. Cove_Sheep
er... because he plays for The Rangers Adam. basic stuff... It's because the SFA are victimising Paton over his decision to play for NI according to Paton...

I mean it was really dubious as to whether he meant to stand all over the raith player after smashing him with his elbow...
Toepoke
The "frivolous" part only applies to overturning a red card I think?...
