And rightly so too. In one night the fat staunch prick ruined his reputation among some scotland fans. He's disgusted and outraged at the booing of the British not English national anthem but at the next old firm meeting at ibrox he will be banging on about the great atmosphere as bigtory spews from the stands.

I hope the fat staunch prick shits antlers.

👏👏 I was thinking the exact same. He drinks in our local pub with people I know for a fact sing all the sectarian shite. He should clean up his own house before having a pop about others. Greetin about folk booing a monarchy they didnt have any part in electing but happy to rub shoulders and socialise with people who,  for fun, sing about killing catholics. The guy has zero self awareness.

OK I've had a few days to think about it.

Personally I didn't go to the game (no holidays left) and saved them for the qualifiers. This game just didn't interest me.

Now I was hoping what should of happened, is we didn't play them we should of played the current world champions.

We could of used this game to say the inventors of international football against the world's best team. Used this to promote us not our ugly neighbours.

On the game I still think we did everything on Friday to make sure of the win and some of our players just didn't get up for this friendly. It would of been better to rest some of the starting 11 and give some of the subs a game.

I'm not happy we lost against England but I do think people have been overestimating how good Scotland are and this may be beneficial to us in the long run.

Ultimately, we've progressed to become a team that should qualify and is capable, but by no means guaranteed, to get out of our group if we get to Germany. Five wins in five is great but everything has gone for us in our big games. Spain put out a weakened side and were lucky not to get an equaliser. We were a few minutes away from losing in Norway (having not performed very well) before their inexplicable defensive error.

What worries me is our defence: Porteous and Hendry are championship level defenders or lower EPL at best. The England forward line ripped them apart at Hampden. Having said that, I don't think we'll come up against any forward line as good as that in the Euros.

The real test will be the Spain game as they seem to have come back to life.

Spain were unlucky not to get an equaliser?  Why, because they hit the bar?  I've never quite understood how it makes a team lucky if the other team hits the goal frame.  'They were saved by the post' and such like.  They missed the target.

Besides, we hit the bar too, does that make them lucky they didn't lose 3-0?  Sorry, 3-1 cos they hit the bar too 🤔

They were beginning to dominate between Robertson's moment of madness (some refs would have given a red for that) and when Dykes was clean through just before half time. Yes, we deserved to win but I guess I'm talking about fine margins.

Indeed.  Nice for the fine margins not to be screwing us over for a change.  So far! 🙂

It is sad when someone I once admired you see in a whole different light shattering your opinion and illusions about them. From hero to zero in one fell swoop.

'I have to say' and 'I'm telling you right now' the guy's a complete cock wad

Indeed, although that's not the issue

Up to their knees in Fenian blood, Bobby Sands is 'Deed,' and Fucking the Pope and the IRA belted out on a continuous loop is - That's what require the bigoted slug's attention.

So, it would be right nice to have his opinion in terms of the above, given that the booing of an outdated unwanted song appears to have upset the tramp and his followers greatly

Pretty sad, especially the fact most of the folk singing it weren't born when Bobby Sands "deed".

Ah but it’s only a minority of simply the best football fans in the world 🤔

Sad and infuriating

McCoist, and the people / TV companies involved need calling out on it

They're more concerned about not having their windows panned in, than highlighting the damage it does to us as a country

But it obviously is not. Otherwise the majority (if decent) would get them telt and told in no uncertain terms to shut the f*** up quelling any build up to audibility.

Everyone knows it's nae a minority but the SPL, SFA, police, the press & tv/radio commentators/pundits choose to ignore it for fear of upsetting anyone associated with Rangers. They are dinosaurs & a total embarrassment to Scotland. It's time for all decent Rangers fans to speak up & try to bring their club out of the dark ages.

For me its the supporters who need to make that change in their mindset. Wake up and realise they are seen in a bad light by those with sense. Are they really comfortable with that? I wouldn't be.

Unfortunate they are completely incapable of this. It’s not changing any time soon.

Partly due to the fact that their cultural identity of pro-British, hating Ireland/catholics/fenians is so ingrained that they simply don’t recognise how ridiculous they are. There’s a complete lack of self-awareness or self-honesty.

I notice that the recent line that many of them are spouting is that they don’t dislike the Scotland national team, but it’s the Tartan Army that they can’t stand. It’s just bullshit. They hate the Tartan Army AND the national team. They simply think their position is more credible to say that they hate the Tartan Army for reasons X, Y and Z,  rather than being led down the path of reality that the identity developed around their club team has seen them abandon their Scottish identity, embrace pro-Britain and indeed pro-England sentiment to thumb their nose to their countrymen who they see as the opposition. They’re unable to confront the fact that they are simply raging bigots and construct an alternate reality and justification to convince themselves otherwise.
