  1. perfect thanks. i stayed in cologne a few years ago when Bayer Leverkusen played Celtic before getting the train over to Leverkusen. spent the day drinking in a irish bar called the corkonian if i remember correctly, cracking city cologne the cathedral is some building.
  2. staying in the trip inn hotel ariane the day of the game before moving to the best western hotel koln city the day after the game so thursday before getting the train from cologne on the friday to stuttgart. these good places to stay?
  3. Was indeed Slasher, fully deserved in the end, 4 games to decide the fate of our once proud and mighty club, McCall is starting to get a tune from our squad, I think we will just survive and rebuild during the summer, big changes to the club (for the better) promised (with the caveat of survival & moving back to the city) More confident than I was 4 weeks ago, but that changes on a weekly basis - crowds starting to improve also !!!
  4. Congrats mate, most consistent team in the league & fully deserved 👍 Also thanks for giving us our best result of an otherwise miserable season (1-6) a stranger result in Scottish football history you'll struggle to match 🤣
  5. Jeans & Different Scotland Top / Retro top each day I'm there, no kilt or daft hats with big annoying feathers that scream "look at me" !!!
  6. Anyone any idea how ticket sales are going, I can usually get a good guess when looking at the stadium seating plan (but can't seem to find it in the new layout) ?? Also how many tickets have been sold to the away fans ? Thanks in advance
  7. 12:10 flight is with Lufthansa
  8. Interested to hear some views on the above Radiohead song ? In general I didn't particularly like much of the 90's music / bands (more of a 70's & 80's fan), however this song has always puzzled me, I change my opinion from time to time (probably depending on my frame of mind), I can't decide if it's a work of genius or just mixed up nonsense ?? I take from the lyrics (which are hard to understand) that the writer (Tom Yorke) was lamenting the late 90's greed and his views on that, also some references (I think) to depression and his (non) belief in God (whatever God is ?) Thoughts please lads & lassies ?
  9. about 15 of us also on that Edinburgh to Paris flight then the 12:10 flight from Paris to Munich
  10. When is the tie played FB & who has the home game in the second leg ??
  11. Genuinely never heard anything about that, elaborate ??
  12. The re-match now confirmed for April - the two pressers have been pretty tasty with a fair bit of needle. If I wasn't going to the Euro's I would be travelling down for it. . . . . hopefully a clear victory this time for Taylor, because I thought he was a very luck boy last time.
  13. Looking forward to the Clyde v Aberdeen game tonight, big noisy crowd and also some Aberdeen fans 😄 our form has certainly improved since Ian McCall took charge and certainly don't expect us to be bottom of the pile come May. Aberdeen should win quite comfortably, can't see them having a repeat of the Darvel game. This is a free hit for us tonight, league games & our survival way more important an old picture of our last Scottish cup fixture (1984 IIRC) check the crowd packed inside Shawfield, im in there somewhere a young 18 year old - that Aberdeen time where a bit tasty (think that was Jim Leighton in goals for Aberdeen)
  14. Just finished the complete box set (that was a Christmas present) of the Soprano's - absolute perfection, if there has ever been a better series produced anywhere then I've got to see it.
  15. Watched two films over the festive season from the 1980's and they where really good and I would recommend a watch at some point. . . . . . . . The Star Chamber - with Michael Douglas & Hal Holbrook Nighthawks - with Sylvester Stallone, Rutger Hauer & Lindsay Wagner two very different movies, but really enjoyed them, pretty sure I saw both in the old Odeon Cinema on Renfield Street Glasgow (early 1980's)
