How did the investigation go into the game at Dens that had a delayed start due to the away team not managing the 90 minute journey on time, or the same game having to be stopped after a few minutes because the same clubs moronic supporters caused mayhem with the stadiums fire/smoke safety alarm systems.

See my previous post about what Dundee themselves (and the league overall frankly) can actually tighten up around pre-match procedures when inclement weather may be expected to affect playability of the game. There are obviously a very shoddy set of communication standards at play. Dundee appearing to be the most common denominator this season. In the same way their security seem to fail to detect clearly dozens of flares being brought into the stadium, if that is what causes annoyance as well.

Are you suggesting we have fairness and equality for all clubs? Steady now.

If only 😵‍💫

The sad thing is they are the first ones to run greeting to their pals/lackies in the press complaining about everything under the sun they don’t like/agree with yet continuously refute the clubs supporters bigotry during matches, the usual claim of “it’s only a minority what can we do” nonsense.

Agree on the terrible communication issue.

I suspect there was a fair bit of pre planning & collusion with the flares, I believe that a lot of the stewards are bussed in by the security companies from outside the games local area so there could be collaborators within the stewards.

Old firm insist on their own stewards too at away games.

I'm not excusing Dundee, it's right that they are being investigated because their pitch shouldn't be that bad in this modern era.

However, other clubs have access to weather apps and forecasts like we all do. They could open the lines of communication too.

The SPFL are opening an investigation into Dundees 3rd postponement of the season.

It's the right thing for them to do but I doubt they'd be doing it if the game wasn't going to be on Sky. It does make our game look amateur and won't help any future tv negotiations with them.

Maybe Dundee have done the Scottish game some good after all!

Appreciate there is a bit of finger pointing re the postponement but how hard is it to come with a rearranged date? Should have been sorted first thing yesterday.

Waiting for a reply from Sky?

I’m hoping this is a joke.

📝 Club Statement: Sky Sports Cup Final

Heart of Midlothian Football Club is aware of images circulating of the Tynecastle Park home dressing room at today’s Sky Sports Cup Final.

Although the club hands over the running of the stadium on the day to the competition organisers - the SWPL - we were involved with pre-match planning. We would therefore like to assure our supporters that we did not approve any request for dressing room branding in either dressing room for either club involved.

It is extremely disappointing to learn that our wishes were disregarded. How this came to be is a matter for the SWPL and Rangers to sort, but needless to say no explanation will be satisfactory in our eyes or the eyes of our fans. Nevertheless, we will demand answers to ensure that our club crest is never defaced again.

It is also regrettable that this action has taken away the focus from what was a successful cup final and another opportunity to grow women’s football in Scotland.

Airdrie successfully flying the flag for Scotland today. Were the better team and deserved the win.

The lad that scored the equaliser seems a talent. For a 19 year old he has a bit of dig as well.

Don't want to denigrate their achievement in any way, nor do the whole butcher's apron argument again, but they were literally NOT flying the flag of Scotland today.

It’s a non story. Any cup final at Hampden would have branded dressing rooms. The only issue here is the shite isn’t not big enough to cover the diarrhoea underneath it that makes it look tinpot

The old firm have agreed to a 5% allocation to away fans but not this season, its from next season.

Every other SPL team should give them the same when they play them, can you imagine the uproar if that happens 😁
