What a fookin cheek they have slagging off the Tories. These are the bastards that got into bed with them for their own personal gain and a wee bit of power. I used to vote Lib Dem down south - never again.

They aree going to get a real shafting at next election.

The Lib Dumbs have frequently polled three figure totals in by elections for the least couple of years. That in itself doesn't necessarily mean their going to be wiped out but they are sure in for a kicking at the ballot box.

And fingers crossed to the benefit of the SNP :spin:

Anybody that even remotely thinks that the Liberal dumasfecks have any chance of being in goverment after the next election, is even thicker than Beaker Alexander.

They like everybody else, know come the next election, the Liberal donkeycarts are well and truely screwed, so they can what they want and promise what ever they want, because they know fine and well, they ain't going to be in any form of power.

Willie Rennie, what an absolute numpty, at this supposed "conference" he accused David Cameron, by renegading on the promise of powers to Holyrood, of "ruining what should have been a great display of national unity"... "national unity"...

45% of Scotlands population voted for independence and that's a display of UNITY is it?

Whit a fanny.

UK no more, it's just a matter of time before we finalise it.

Would love to see that loathsome, ginger cnut sent into political oblivion.

Definitely making a mental note of taking the day off after the GE. Will happily sit up and watch some of these Judas s being shown the door, one by one.

Scant consolation for last month's utter disappointment, but hopefully the beginning of the Scottish people taking its revenge for the bullshit we have been fed in respect of the so called 'Vow'.

Lamia - simple answer. That despicable lot would sell their granny to get a whiff of power. Quite simple.

They are finished as a serious political force - that's if they ever were one. I for one would have Alexander's declaration on a continuous loop if it meant the good people of Inverness booted out that utter Quisling cretin.

The Liberal Democrats should see this conference as the last event of any note in mainstream politics. Let's face it the Lib Dems have always been the Tories with a wee bit of social conscious. They've also got the least conviction of any party over their principles and ideology.

They would and have sacrificed every policy and manifesto pledge in order to gain any semblance of power. They are a bunch of wealthy do-gooders who care more about influence and power than any policy they claim to have.

Quite simply they have been found out. Hopefully next year they'll be able to hold their party conference in Saltcoats town hall.

I used to quiet like and admire them. Lots of policies that they knew were not going to be popular but they adopted because they thought it was the right thing to do.

Clegg is their Blair, the man who sold all the principles for power. And at price that will in retrospect be seen as far too cheap.

They will get a pasting in the general election and it will be well deserved. They did not have to join the Tories and they could have held out for some of their policies to be adopted by simply promising to abstain in a vote of no confidence. This would have kept the Tories in power and the Lib Dems out of the firing line at least to some extent whilst still getting them some of the things that they wanted. It would also have curbed the worst of the Tories plans as they would not have had the votes. Instead they have supported policies that they not only disagreed with but that they actually campaigned against. For what, a ministerial car and a salary bump?

I hold them in total contempt. At least people knew the Tories would target the poor and appease the wealthy.

57 seats the last time. SNP may possibly beat their total this time round.

In reality Lib Dems have sacrificed a lot to be in government. Without them acting as restraint to some of the tory right wingers I think we would be in a worse place. I will be voting LD in the next election.

Sacrificed their integrity and future votes.
