Flying out Sunday from Stanstead to Istanbul on the Sunday. Istanbul to Tel Aviv on the Tuesday. Istanbul stunning city. 86 quid with Pegasus airlines. Checking on skyscanner ..a lot of multi .city trips coming in cheaper than direct for the way back. Defintely getting out of Israel on the Friday before it shuts doon for the Sabbath ..just waiting to pick somewhere on way back. Athens looks a decent option so far ..but probs going to wait and see if the low cost airlines reduce their prices out of tel aviv .
  2. Another England international sportsman found not guilty after video assistant referee decision. Stevie Gerrard got lucky as well after punching the fook out of someone a few years ago in Southport bar. I'm still fooking raging after that unfunny khunt Ken Dodd got off with tax evasion when the judge virtually told the jury he was guilty. One law for some....

    European Games

I was up in Glasgow for the Commonwealth cycling road race when Geraint Thomas won at. Was great fun watching it at different points especially seeing them flying down the High Street.

    Le Tour 18

I don't know much about Millar but I like his commentary. I'm sure Wiggins must be a bit of cunt at times but he's very entertaining.

    Le Tour 18

Loved the scenery shots from the Ardeche. Itv4 coverage excellent. The cycling pundits like Millar and Boardman give a great insight but particulary liked Wiggins giving his thoughts.

I think its a very short sighted move taking the live coverage away from free stations. There might be more prize money for the big guns but there will inevitably be a drop off in youngsters and others taking up the game eventually leading to closures of lots of courses. Most courses now are reliant on the visitor income - I'm not a member anywhere anymore but travel around playing as many courses as I can - usually only once. Just done anther tour of Wales playing the following courses:- Earlswood in Swansea - £12 pay and play - cracking layout apart from some of the front nine being a bit close to each other - glorious views over Swansea Bay and have to say the best greens Ive ever played on - immaculate. Ashburnham near Llanelli - high quality links course that holds various championships -usually £55 quid at weekends but got the one slot on Teeofftimes for £15. Tenby - £25 after 3 o'clock on a weekend. Hard as fook links course with loads of blind shots and ball ending up who knows where. Excellent course and had it to myself on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Trefoyle near Tenby - very friendly welcome from Pro Shop -signed me on at member's guest rate £10 instead of £20. Lovely layout only let down was greens were below par. South Pembrokeshire - £20 in honesty box. Doesn't look much when you get there -but far better once on the course - some outstanding holes and great views down the Milford Haven Waterway. Milford Haven - excellent course - very varied after first three which are a bit samey. Again great views from the other bank of the Milford Haven Waterway. Haverfordwest - nice condition but a few crossover holes and last 2 holes are very disappointing -so much so that the members stop at 16th - last hole is huge uphill to the clubhouse - could be so much better but poorly designed. Pwllelli - friendliest course ever from the pro shop to the members and bar staff. First seven holes quite easy parkland then changes to seven links holes finishing up with four more challenging parkland holes. Great fun to play - didn't really want to come off after 18 but had another course to play. Henlllys on Anglesey - another excellent course - every holed different - just loved it and the views over the Menai Straits to Snowdonia brilliant. Maesdu in Llandudno - excellent course again with outstanding views all around. Rhyl - 9 hole seaside straight flat links - very friendly club unlike the town which is a total toilet. played the first nine with 3 of the members then following a pint played the same nine but with different tees -did the 9 in one over par which is pretty extraordinary for me being off 15.

    Russia 2018

I noticed that as well - no shyte about talking up England during the game either - McCoist far more interesting as co-commentator than those dull as ditchwater English fuckers like Nevilles, Hoddle and Murphy. Juts waiting on BBC dismissing Sweden before England have even got potentially past Colombia

    Russia 2018

When he was midfield in a previous tournament -for me he was player of the tournament a few years ago when Spain won the world cup. Most football players are cheats anyway.

Lot of people can't stand Sergio Ramos - I think he's an absolutely brilliant player. Skilful , hard as fuck dirty bastard - just what you need in a team

Im back in Lytham St Annes now.
  18. I know fook all about Scottish senior football mate more knowledgeable about the junior game. But if you think McAllister was a Scotland "legend" then you are easily pleased or a wee bit thick or even a Rangers supporter?
  19. I drove up yesterday morning and did the march. Was a bit annoyed at the route - bit like avoiding the city centre and hiding us away. Found it really funny with these neanderthals with their union jacks shouting "square go " and to be honest Ive never been called a Fenian bastard before but always a first even though I'm not religious although I suppose I did attend a catholic wedding once. When I cam away from Glasgow Green the tail end of the march was still arriving and I saw the "Inverness True Blues" bus stuck with them all screaming and giving the vickies. My dad gets the Sunday Post and the Sunday Mail - what a pile of shyte their coverage of the match was - more coverage given to the Dumbarton Arbroath match. So although I enjoyed the march , I really came away from it with a bigger disgust of Rangers and its supporters and everything it stands for. They are by and large Scotland's scum - and I even went to Rangers matches when I was a kid - before I came to my senses with all that sectarian pish.
  20. A few dicks on radio 5 with no knowledge of Scottish football discussing the Gerrard appointment ..mentioning that he has the assistance of Scottish "legend" Gary McAllister with his "vast wealth of knowledge of football in Scotland ". Legend ? Have I missed something ? Or more likely he missed something ..oh aye a fucking penalty.

    Amber Rudd resigns

They couldnt have liked her then lol ..wonder if pressure will turn to May now..not if BBC has anything to do with it.
  23. irnbruman

    Amber Rudd resigns

Certainly not the civil servants in home office ..they are implementing the policy not creating it.
  24. irnbruman

    Amber Rudd resigns

She resigned purely for incompetence regarding targets ..for me the true evil is whoever instigated the policy .
