If napoli is an option I'd go Serie A over epl

Fairbairn
Candeias apparently signing for Genclerbirligi in Turkey. He's been pretty decent for us however given we have about 114 wingers it makes sense that one or more has to drop out.

Or is it more likely that one or both of them will be loaned out ?

I know we need to trim the squad but I'd prefer we moved on the shite first. I think he might be a victim of the rules around home grown players. Alnwick, Herrera, Dodoo, Holt, Grezda, Lafferty, Dorrans off the top of my head. I’d also add Flanagan to that list now we have Polster but Gerrard seems to like him and you could argue Halliday should be on it but he’s proven to be quite versatile. It’s also questionable how much game time Docherty and Jones will get. Edited July 18, 2019 by Fairbairn

I quite like the boy, despite him signing for you lot.

I also don't think he was that good prior to the injury. At his best I'd say he's only good enough to be a squad player. He's too slow for the style we are supposed to be playing. We are better than that level now and he just isn't quick enough to play in the style we are supposed to be adopting.

Although I thought he was deceptively fast with the ball at his feet. At Motherwell he complemented a pacy winger on the other side (Chris Humphrey) well. You tended to find if Murphy was quiet, Humphrey would tear it up or if they doubled up on Humphrey, Murphy would take advantage of the extra space on the left. At 30, he’ll still be a better player than Hastie will ever be.
