Scunnered
Wonder how wealthy Weir was when he first joined the SNP. Probably lucky if he had two brass buttons to rub together at the time Wealthy enough to play the lottery at least.

thewelk
Not a poll, but interesting none the less... Only the conservatives have received more in donations from those on the Sunday Times Rich List than Scotland's anti establishment party. Must! Clutch! Straws! aaid
According to the Electoral commission, it's 1.4 million from Brian Souter and 2 million from the Weirs.
Stapes
Have been hearing rumours that some Labour candidates in Scottish constituencies have been told to stop spending money (throwing good money after bad). Anyone else heard this? If so, I would take it as an indication that they know the game is up.
FuNsTeR
Central Ayrshire they have spent a fortune with those leaflets via Royal Mail every two week sometimes a different leaflet two weeks on a trot
Stapes
Think that was the case in Midlothian too, but this directive has only come through in the past few days. So areas where Labour is looking likely to lose shouldn't see any more.
Scunnered
Must! Clutch! Straws! You'll need to explain that one? Think you are well wrong on that assurance http://journalistsresource.org/studies/society/race-society/research-review-lotteries-demographics http://soc.sagepub.com/content/early/2012/12/16/0038038512457854.abstract I can't get access to the studies, they're behind a paywall so can't comment on income levels. But from my experience, including an emotionally exhausting 6 months working in the local council housing office, those without two brass buttons to rub together are not in the position to play the lottery. Especially not 5 lucky dips
