Rab The Crab
This was my first. Went after school in my mates dads car which was seriously overloaded. Went to the rest of the home qualifiers in that campaign. Had a few dabbles with the national team since then until Dortmund in 2014 when I finally got the bug. Capital Saint
19 before my first game. Work colleagues hired a minibus from Perth, stopped at the New Orleans bar in Ruthrglen for a few before heading down to the game. That was the first of many with them until I moved north a couple of years later.
Ally Bongo
A lot of International mediocrity in that Scotland team Players that were with successful clubs that couldnt transfer it to the National team Kenny Burns, Archibald, Andy Gray to name but three with John Wark close behind

I thought he played pretty well for Scotland.

In fact, if we could have found a striker with his strike rate, he would have been first pick on the team sheet.

BraveheartGordon
2004 0-0 v Slovenia, Pretty much sums up all my years supporting Scotland since, decent start, ultimately disappointing and uninspiring without being embarrassing too often. Nigel Quashie hit the bar in the game I'm sure. Remember it being a midweek and me going for a nightshift afterwards.

That’s the one, I watched highlights of the game back recently and we dominated them first half and in the second we dropped off and settled for a draw to save berti’s job. Stapes
V Yugoslavia in the 1980s. Apparently Tam Cowan's first game too. Think we won something like 6-1. Pretty much all downhill from there. Re Derek Johnstone scoring that diving header. Didn't he score two or three like that for Scotland at that time?
