I can forgive them not liking Salmond, least that bloke was honest and said he doesn't like him because he wants to end the union (although not a country posh boy)

But calling him hateful, anti english and telling lies about the snp is bullshit. A bit like better together, these people will say anything to make Salmond and the snp look bad, doesn't matter if it's true or there's no evidence, as long as it sounds good and no one questions it.

To gauge the reactions to this story you can see they are frightened ... They can see that their beloved parliament and their dodgy parties could end up in political limbo and having to crawl to parties like the SNP to get their laws etc through... they are rattled and long may it continue...

SNP will have a sizeable chunk in Westminster, possibly enough for a Lab/SNP/Lib coalition.

You're not suggesting the next UK government could be made up of coalition of Labour, the Lib Dems and the SNP?!? Stuff of fantasy.

There's no chance of Scotland being independent in the next 5 years. None whatsoever. The timing of any future referendum will be up to the UK government who will hopefully block any referendum over the next 25 years.

It's nice being subservient. At least you know where you stand.

Sort of, un-complicates matters.

You're in favour of a UK government denying the will of the people of Scotland?

The timing of any future referendum will be up to a majority of votes in Edinburgh.

If Westminister won't give another section 30 it would send the Yes vote over 65%.

It is game over for the union, but the SNP should only call it when the hard work of getting more key players onside.

start of the newspaper is a step in right direction. So is a chunk of mps.

And ironically so are media clips like the one posted. The days of Britain it would seem are almost over. Its a shame in some ways speaking as a kid of the 70s but in many ways indy might be the only way to rekindle it, in a non political sense.

I hope Nicola bides her time because next time needs to be a stick on yes.

I agree entirely with the last sentence, if we hold a referendum too quickly and No wins again it really is over for 25 + years, maybe forever.

I always thought that 18 September 2014 was the earliest possible opportunity for a yes vote. But also the last possible opportunity for a no vote. But then that's because I assume Westminster will do its best to do Scotland over and we are now in for 20 years of asset stripping and lost opportunities that will only slowly and painfully become obvious to the Scottish electorate. Could be wrong of course, need to see the outcome 2015 before anything becomes clearer.

Another addition for the 'C' list from Brit boy here.

See, its this kinda thing that drives me absolutely fcking mad.

The bedroom tax would never have passed had the Lib Dems not bowed down to their Tory masters.

The vote against bedroom tax is especially disgusting, why? Because Malcolm Bruce voted against Labours proposal to limit what damage it could do.

I fckin despise the Lib Dems. Its a sad day when the Tories are the least revolting of the three Westminster groups.

Lie dems quick of the mark in sending out a Newsletter the first working day after his announcement1zf5s91.jpg

So do they need to explain why Macolm Bruce and other Scots Lib Dems voted against a Labour motion to scrap the Bedroom tax? Obviously think the people of Gordon are complete idiots.

If he doesn't win the seat the unionist will have a field day; in fact it could even bring the curtain down on his career.

Does the constituency not broadly mirror his seat in Holyrood though?

.

Not really it overlaps in places but doesn't take in the really strong SNP areas in the north.
