No Tom Cairney either and surprised no Bannan, but hey ho he wont get the Scotland job any way(insert suitable emoticon)

Brummie Hibs
A very odd squad! Goalkeepers: Jordan Archer, Craig Gordon, David Marshall Defenders: Callum Paterson, Kieran Tierney, Andrew Robertson, Liam Cooper, Paul Hanlon, Charlie Mulgrew, Christophe Berra Midfielders: Stuart Armstrong, Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, James Forrest, Darren Fletcher, Ryan Fraser, Ryan Jack, John McGinn, Kenny McLean, Matt Phillips, Graeme Shinnie, Ryan Christie Forwards: Jason Cummings, Leigh Griffiths
weekevie04
What a mad, all over the place squad. Happy to see the SPL faces in there ; but of the 'big' names he has left out, he's somehow kept Phillips on! The lack of interest in the job I think means that if he wins the game then job will most likely be his.
McDange
Good squad for a friendly to try out some new faces, particularly at Centre Back. I'm unfamiliar with Hanlon and Cooper but this is always a position for concern for me. Hopefully the Aberdeen players are there on merit and not because the game is there. JECK
Has Cummings been pulling up trees at Nottingham forest? Didn't expect that. Good to see Patterson in there. Matt Phillips can kindly do one. D Fletch just call it a day already. ps where is Snoddy? Edited October 30, 2017 by JECK

Christie and Shinnie have been playing well this season although Shinnie's best games have been at left back. McLean has been poor although did play well on Saturday. He scored a couple against Newcastle in the cup. I watched a bit of the Forest game on Saturday and other than headering the ball of the line you wouldn't have known he was playing. RenfrewBlue
Ryan Jack isn't even the best Scottish midfielder at Ibrox. There's no way he should be in that squad. But you could have said that for about 10 players in every one of Strachan's squads.
Parklife
I look forward to seeing Ryan Jack win the 1st of his 50 caps.

Kirk
Ryan jack red card must be worth a shout, what a awful selection. Still reckon Barrie Mackay is unluckyy not to be in either. Few new faces at least but Brown and Fletch should defos call it a day
andyD
instant reaction is that I'm annoyed that we have 1 right back in the squad. To me that's just stupid.
