Bannannan
Bottom line is Rangers would be showing a lot of weakness if they keep this twat!

Parklife
Ohhh another "asbestos" masterclass from a football fan. Is this asbestos threat as hilarious and ill-informed as the one that mental Hibs fans go on about in relation to Tynecastle?

Parklife
A hilariously ill-informed interview with Mr Barton on the Guardian site today, if anyone is interested.
Big Col
Betting now.... lol, turning into quite the soap opera this one. I'm guessing jabba Traynor will now be feeding lots of stories like these to the media. The Rangers trying to sack him to avoid a pay off? macy37
The three weeks is apparently simply to get the employment law side of things sorted. He won't play again for them.

In our place they get 48 hours of notice before a hearing and then during that hearing can be dismissed instantly if there is enough evidence to back it up. If Rangers have enough evidence to can him after the 3 week period then they've got enough evidence to do it earlier.
sbcmfc
Andy Halliday seemed to have an extra bit of arrogance about him yesterday. Based on the rumoured training ground bust up, it seems slightly surprising that he's not been suspended too... Andy Halliday = Barry Ferguson Joey Barton = Paul le guen (accent and everything!) Probably more to do with Rangers management team and board being a disjointed shambles. There's a decent chance Warburton could fall on his sword and Barton makes a return. Who is cheaper to pay off? EddardStark
Depending on who you believe it could cost Rangers £2m to jettison Barton if they cant find a valid reason to sack him. My guess is he will go out on loan after Jan window although Barton wants a quick exit.
