I think Glasgow is a cracking city and is under rated by a lot of people who live here. If you look at the criteria that people rate other cities on such as nightlife, restaurants, shopping, arts and culture and throw in Glasgow's proximity to the likes of Loch Lomond etc then I think you can see why people hold it in high regard. Prior to living in Glasgow, I loved it. Having now lived there for 9 years, I've been to all of the good places and now prefer going elsewhere. Had a 5 daytrip to germany and france so was in the europa park are for 3 days before going to Strasbourg for the final 2 days and I must say i was very impressed.
