Robroysboy
Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back Return Of The Jedi. Do I get a prize for answering correctly? Watching the above films with my son, they are exceptionally good films. Hoping the next movie to be released at the end of the year lives up to the same standard. Replay
Completely agree about Paris Texas. Rubbish film that it was cool to like. Completely disagree about A Walk Actoss the Rooftops. Brilliant album by a brilliant band. I love slow building, mysterious films that study different characters in detail. Paris, Texas left me totally gobsmacked, but my wife hated it, so it's a bit marmite. Here's another few to add to the list; There will be blood Lost in translation The rules of the game (La règle du jeu) M Spirited Away Boyhood The Pianist Rosemary's Baby The lives of others Once upon a time in the west Godfather & Godfather II It's a wonderful life The Shining American Beauty The Dollar trilogy No country for old men Stagecoach The list goes on and on, too many great films to mention
SMcoolJ
I forgot about Lost in Translation - great film. Also, It's a Wonderful Life - brilliant. I watched Forrest Gump last night, I have to admit it is excellent (as is the soundtrack).

The year Gump came out you had Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption, for my personal tastes a great year. I also like Good Will Hunting.
