Armchair Bob
It's really still today. The air seems to be moving about as much as Charlie Adam. I was tempted to wear shorts to work today, but a fellow tried that last year and was sent home.

Squirrelhumper
I found 37°C in Prague a few years back (end of May friendly) totally unbearable. And that was at 9am around airport. It got even hotter as the day went on. Awful. Match was shte too. My last holiday was Arran in November and before that Orkney in previous December. Much better weather. Cold, mix of dry and wet. Mostly dark. Perfect. That weather was class. Macedonia in 2008 too. We stayed in Veles with cracking pool and right on the lake. Best Scotland trip I've been on (except result)

Jagtag
The thermometer in my flat showed 29.5 degrees during the night. Apparently it's going to reach 36 degrees down here today and I have to put on a suit and work late shift.
King Of Paisley
The Welk - was definitely 57C according to the digital street thermometer I saw in Fetihye. Even the locals were girning about the heat which says something Glasgowmancity - we are in Cala N Forcat. Fourth year running there. Beer and food very reasonable and loads for the bairn to do. dezmondo
It's so nice in greenock that Roman Abrahmovic's yacht is sitting anchored out on the Clyde. Pretty impressive if I do say so myself, I'd post a picture but don't know how to on my mobile to this forum.
