Obviously disappointed to lose my Socialist MP, I've absolutely no confidence in her replacement what so ever and in all honesty would have preferred an honest Tory. In the grand scheme of things I'm delighted to see Murphy, Curran, Alexander, and Hood go who were my hit list.

I've no idea what's going to happen as I certainly didn't expect a Tory majority and for that I feel sick :(

I know what you mean. For me, it kind of feels like the hangover kicking in after a brilliant night out. There are going to be some hard times ahead for an awful lot of people; some of the plans the Tories have in the pipeline are frightening.

If there was one Scottish MP who didn't deserve to lose her seat it was Katy Clark. On the plus side, for her, there is a Scottish election next year. Maybe, for the first time in a long time, we might see some decent political talent on the Labour benches in Holyrood.

Of course, what they ought to do is create a completely autonomous Scottish Labour party, a la the Scottish Greens. I can't see that happening though, not now that Murphy has confirmed that he is staying on.

So you think "hiding his jewry" is an acceptable statement to make?

Sure why not? have you been spreading chili sauce on your vagina again?

Miliband is Jewish, Jews have stereotypical big noses and i mused he flattened his to hide being jewish.

get over yourself.

Will they not kick Murphy out? I find it hard to believe they'll keep him - if they do they are Donald ducked next year as well

If they've any bloody sense they will. Which means they won't.

Judging by their supporters reaction so far they'll have little choice.

It's their supporters that voted for him to be leader. It's hardly as if they didn't know what they'd get from Murphy either.

I'm more inclined to blame the members who voted for a known , than the for being one.

Totally

Murphy not resigning proves they will never change - in fact it seems that their strategy now will be even more New Labour than less

The mods have put that in the swear filter? What sad, pathetic, vindictive, bullying whanks.

Yeah. I heard John Reid this morning praising Tony Blair and saying he knew how to win elections. Insinuating they had to go more New Labour than old Labour.

If that happens then they're dead up here and Indy is a formality.

Christ almighty, I've just been reading about the way that horrible Galloway campaigned against his Labour opponent in Bradford. Didn't think he could sink any lower............

This is one seat I am glad Labour did manage to win.

The big debate on Radio Scotland was interesting

2 Labour voters and a Lib Dem voter in the audience, all who voted No last year, said that in the event of England pulling us out of Europe a second referendum was needed and they would all vote Yes

So it's a tactical no vote on europe then?

Is there a wheel for this?

The mods crusade against dear Scunnered continues. I'm beginning to feel unwelcome here :(

It really is shit. The mods on here used to use the filter fairly lightly, and with humour. Parklife's bang on about what's going on at the moment:
