If he is to be more than a bit part squad player, he needs to get his chance to make his mark, or cement his place, and where better than at home in a friendly like this. Otherwise, it must knock your confidence as a striker if you know that one miss and you're out. Even if he is not a long term, world class prospect etc, we need a on-form and confident striker competing for a place, not an out of sorts, on the back foot striker, if we are to have any chance. Scotty2Hotty Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 Team is so one dimensional, NIR reading everything that we are trying to do. These frendlies were the perfect opportunity to try out something different with the team and nope, it's the same old same old pretty much. Clarke has to be questioned why he hasn't given Christie gametime in CDM, Ferguson not giving much time, Mctominay playing deeper in midfield by looks of thing.
