Ive read a few bits on his time over there and he’s very highly rated by their coaching staff. He also seems really proud about playing for Scotland if his social media is anything to go by. Hes been.like that since he was first capped I think it's a really lazy comment about Forrest. There is no doubt that he is one of our best players. Getting the best out of him is what the manager should be looking to do - not replace him with an inferior player. A forward 4 which includes Forrest, Christie and Fraser could be very effective for Scotland. I think Fletcher would have been the best forward to have with them but we probably need to make do with McBurnie (who I still think will do well for us given a run of games). We'd need two solid, midfielders in the team. McTominay is the obvious first choice. I'd be fairly happy with any one of McGinn, McGregor, Armstrong, Fleck or even McLean alongside him. I'd be looking at Jack for right-back and obviously Robertson at left-back. I don't have any answers for the centre-back problem but feel McKenna is probably the best of an average bunch. You're absolutely right, that forward 4 could be very effective IF Forrest carried his celtic form, application and desire over to scotland but he simply doesnt. I know you struggle to take criticism of a celtic player but open your eyes, forrest just doesnt do it enough for scotland.

That's pretty much word-for-word what I was going to say. Plus, when Forrest and Fraser gave their best performances for Scotland it wasnt out wide. They were both in a narrow three up front. Hopefully he does get a move in January and we see Griffiths starting more before the playoff

The_Dark_Knight
The Old Firm with a combined three eligle Scots. Also, does anyone know anything about Lamie? The guy that was accused of being me (Rab something) raved about him. He also claimed that Lamie was an anchorman, but he seems to be a center back. At least Celtic have got four on the bench whereas Rangers have only got one. As a supporter of the latter I would like to see a few more coming through and hopefully we will do in the coming years. It's just not good enough.

Not sure why I am so convinced he has a future in the national team. He's a Scottish centre-back playing at a decent standard in England. What more convincing do you need? If Jack Hendry was deemed to be worthy of a cap then Liam Lindsay certainly is, as he is the better player of the two.

For Liverpool: They have probably the best anchorman in the EPL in Fabinho. So Robertson wouldn't play in the anchorman position for Liverpool. For Scotland: We dont have Alexander-Armold or Salah, so Robertson wouldn't have had the chance to create the goal. killiefaetheferry
The point is he’s not delivering a ball like that sitting in front of the defence. I’m not actually against your back 3 but Robertson needs to be wide left.

I’m not actually against your back 3 but Robertson needs to be wide left. For Scotland he's never in a position to whip the ball in. Scotland lose the ball so frequently that he's usually always at left back. At Liverpool he's pretty much a winger. This is why he's getting so much abuse. Scotland fans expect him to replicats his club form, but he can't. Your best players should be in the middle, especially if you're weak in the middle, which we are. Look at David Alaba and Joshua Kimmich. Both play full back for their club, anchorman for country. Remember the 96/97 European Cup final? Paul Lambert played as the Borussia Dortmund anchorman and set up the first goal by whipping a ball in from the right. (As well as marking Zidane out of the match and being MOTM) Just because a player plays in a position it doesnt mean they're static for 90 minutes.
