Scotty CTA
Tell me one thing Maynard has done except for his highly over-credited "off the ball play".

Marky
That Stockley guy is a liability. I'd hook him at half time

Grim Jim
Willie Miller suggesting he could be replaced at half time to reduce risk. Sounds sensible to me.
Scotty CTA
He should be replaced because he is on a yellow. (I hope that Wright gets a run at some point.)

macy37
Let's play sheep bingo - It was the oppressive heat. They are cheats. Derek is still learning. All Haye's fault. Great showing against a team with a bigger budget. Etc etc etc.
dandydunn
Beaten by the better team tonight, no complaints at all. Don't score, you don't go through. Simple as that. Nice attitude from Christie, zero respect for cheats. Edited August 3, 2017 by dandydunn
Mox
Really poor result for Aberdeen, although not entirely unexpected. Theres only so far you can get with getting the ball wide and launching it into the box for 90 minutes, you're always going to come unstuck against teams with better fitness, technical ability and are willing to be more agressive. Parklife
McInnes' fault tonight. Every Aberdeen fan I know would've went with a 5 at the back & Maynard up front. Everyone apart from McInnes and Scotty would've done that.

SMcoolJ
We were out-European footballed tonight. That's about all. Not sure I agree with the starting eleven, but fans only know half truths. Very dissapointing. Edited August 3, 2017 by SMcoolJ

I agree that is the major problem, it's the same way the international team has gone in decline. Scottish teams don't know how to cheat, time waste and be street smart, until they do, there will be no progress made. Id rather lose than cheat like that though. COLT NY
Things learnt from today's game... - Adam Rooney remains the only option up front. - Scott Wright SHOULD be a regular starter this season (ahead of Stewart). - Tansey is not up to standard in open play, and won't last more than a season at Aberdeen. - Shinnie should be a lot closer to the Scotland squad than McLean (knew that already). - FIFA has done nothing to stop referees from ruining the game by allowing consistent play acting to go entirely unpunished. I agree - other than the Rooney bit. We have no options up front!!
Marky
Thought the boy Wright looked lively when he came on. Tansey on the other hand continuously gave the ball away. Couple of great chances for Kenny MacLean. Should've buried both.
dandydunn
Seems the clown element of Aberdeens support have decided to take the frustration out on the stewards. Then each other. Idiots.
