ErsatzThistle
The Daily Record and co will be sorely disappointed they can't print the "Strachan must go" front page tomorrow.
Caledonian Craig
The positives were performances from Snodgrass (hattrick), Ritchie, Bannan and Burke looks like he'll be great addition to the side given time. Created plenty of chances. Downside - defence really needs looking at. If Malta can score against us the other teams in the group will certainly fancy their chances. brant grebner
Great decision by Stewart Regan to get the game played at night time. It's shameful that we have to play these non-European countries in the qualifiers, but at least we've learned from the likes of Macedonia and we've not played it at midday. macy37
Right am I being deluded in thinking Robertson cannot defend and will get ripped by better class sides?

The defence really needs to be looked at. However thats the first time I've enjoyed watching Scotland in ages. We are a much more fluid team without Scott Brown. Dont know the answer for the defence - Robertson and Paterson are better going forward than defensively - ok for tonight but you'd suspect the other sides will fancy their chances attacking down our flanks. The central defence is two players that are struggling to get into championship sides but who is better?
borojock
great start to the campaign three points, decent performance hard to really tell with the sending off and pen. No yellow or red cards, no injuries. Cant really ask for more.

We also should now be looking to give chances to other players in that position in upcoming friendlies to see what else is out there. The issue is that your probably going to play Snodgrass and Ritchie in front of them- who themselves aren't the best at covering back. Needs to be looked at, I think- but no idea how you solve it. ErsatzThistle
Oh FFS. Lots of idiots on twitter are writing off Oliver Burke because he made a couple of mistakes and didn't score. He's nineteen for the love of ........ Honestly, what are these idiots on ?
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Phew. Bit lucky with refereeing but took advantage. Very shaky defensively first half - defending for their goal was horrendous. Snodgrass just seems to love playing for Scotland lots of energy and made a big difference. Caledonian Craig
Beeb making sh!tloads out of ref decisions but lets remember we had a penalty shout earlier that wasn't given and in the first half Robertson was clear down the wing with support in the middle and the ref blew up for a free-kick to us.
