Am I wrong here?

They are elected to serve their constituents firstly, but also the party that they stand for. If they refuse to be in the shadow cabinet, they are not fulfilling their obligation to their party, I find that pretty ridiculous. If they dont want to be Labour Cabinet members, maybe they should GTF and be independents.

A broad show of being united today could have really helped Labour IMO.

No, party comes first. Same for all parties, although some are more autocratic than others.

Can we get a link please? )

Here's one I absolutely despise. Ian Austin. A former close ally of Broon. Austin also hates the SNP and has attacked them in the Commons on the most trivial of things since they went down there.

Showing his excellent PR skills when dealing with Corbyn supporters :-))

I'm just thankful that for every few blind Nationalists like Exile there's a good guy like ParisinaKilt. A Yes voter who can see the greater good past the Unionist vs Nationalist nonsense.

Blair Jenkins said the other day that independence will be won in 2021... I imagine it will be quite difficult to argue for a Neoliberal led Independent Scotland vs Corbyns progressive Labour government.

Ahem,… I invited you to consider a Socialist World with no national boundaries! What I had in mind was that if you value all human life equally, you could have a world with no borders, where people are free to migrate to where there are more resources, and so world resources are more evenly distributed; there is a levelling up for the poorest, so no-one starves, and a levelling down for the rich (including probably most of us on here); we all live around the world average income (about £6000 a year), probably underemployed, living in small houses (or large houses divided into small ones); it could be like East Germany where everyone has some sort of job, you get a Trabant if you’re lucky, but no one starves.

But you chose to respond by referencing Scotland, Yes voters and Blair Jenkins!...

my old man a life long Labour voter said he won't be voting in Holyrood or Westminster elections with Corbyn in charge in London and Dugdale in Scotland, he called him a commie and he said Labour will never win a election with him in charge

btw he hates both the Snp and Tories with a passion and is very pro EU

I just don't get that. What does he want from a Labour Party?

oh and scunnered Corbyn did say he was against more devolution and against giving more powers to Holyrood

If you can get me a quote I'd be happy to accept... However I've asked many for it and not received it.

The only time I've seen him mention powers is when he said he wouldn't support devolution of Business tax to an SNP government, a position I completely support.

Corbyn backtracked

He initially said he was opposed to Independence and added that if he was Prime Minister there wouldnt be another referendum.

At his meeting in Dundee he spouted the mantra that Salmond said the referendum would be once in a generation.

He was immediately heckled by someone in the audience after which he said it would be a decision for the Scottish people

You have to question the political landscape we live in when no soon after Cameron has phoned Corbyn to congratulate him on winning the Labour leadership he states that Corbyn is a threat to National security

Thats verging on dictatorship propaganda tbh

How is it?

He is CND and anti-NATO. If you believe in the current set-up that is pretty radical

It's a strange world when opposition to city killers and empire is considered radical. I of course know what you mean, just from where i'm sitting it seems crazy. I'm sure i'm thought of crazy by someone who does like them though. So least it balances out.
