ParisInAKilt
Ronaldo scores 3, Messi 1 but wins the league. Almost sums them up as players.

PASTA Mick
Do people even have this debate anymore? I think Neymar is closer to Ronaldo than Ronaldo is too Messi.

wembley67lisbon
Lucky to get to see both at the same time. Frightening how good Messi is.
Boynze
Ronaldo scores 3, Messi 1 but wins the league. Almost sums them up as players. In what way does that sum then up?
jock strap
Apparently Ronaldo is returning to Man United through the summer. Massive rumours in Manchester with this. Aggravation with Bale and apparently Bale will stay I believe this to be utter crap btw.
ParisInAKilt
In what way does that sum then up? Ronaldo scores more goals but messi wins the league. It's a far from perfect analysis
sbcmfc
Messi more of a team player? (Ronaldo perhaps trying to rid himself of his poor team player rep, passed a couple of times on Wednesday when he shouldve gone himself!) I think Ronaldo has everything physically, but he's just not Messi.

ParisInAKilt
Neither of them are as good as Maradona. Maybe not but Messi is the only one close enough to be compared with the great man.
ParisInAKilt
Ronaldo is just a machine though. Apparently he could play another 300 games for Madrid, score 14 and have a similar record to Raul. But in terms of honours Raul is way ahead of Ronaldo, it's not even close.

But in terms of honours Raul is way ahead of Ronaldo, it's not even close. I read a stat the other day that said that since joining Real Madrid, Ronaldo has a goal scoring record of at least a goal every other game against *every* team he has played against

Scunnered
When I was a boy it was Gabriel Batistuta that was all the rage. Khunts used to fight each other for the right to "be" him when playing world cuppy. No one ever fought me for the right to be Ally Mitchell To the topic at hand, Messi is untouchable. Kenneth Farrington
Supposedly, it drives Ronaldo up the wall that folk compare him to Messi, but compare Messi to Pele & Maradona.
Fairbairn
Supposedly, it drives Ronaldo up the wall that folk compare him to Messi, but compare Messi to Pele & Maradona. It must be frustrating to be as good as Ronaldo but constantly have Messi's shadow looming over him. Almost no matter what he does people go away and see what Messi has been up to before commenting. RenfrewBlue
Yeah, I don't know how he gets through each day.Probably sits with a box of kleenex in front of his museum statue........
redstevie007
Supposedly, it drives Ronaldo up the wall that folk compare him to Messi, but compare Messi to Pele & Maradona. Ronaldo and Messi are completely different players. Ronaldo would more appropriately measured against someone like Puskas or Eusebio.
