saintlyscot
Loving this! Alexander is (was,) a typical career politician who tried all over Scotland to get a seat (he was unelected in Perth about 10 years ago) to justify the family businesses investment. Typical hollow ineffectual and mostly remote Scottish labour MP, who spent his whole limited career up the arse of his Westminster chums. Feck 'em Was actually nearly 20 years ago. He stood as labour candidate in Perth after Fairbairn death triggered a by election. He was being mentored by G Brown and carried a pile of Labour political books everywhere. He was a hollow party line man then and as you say he has become the worst type of career politician since. I have waited for this night. Night night Doogie

giblet
Paco McSheepie was always a risky bet... bloody liability. From the point of him being selected, heard a lot of people unhappy in the local party.
Rossy
Anybody starting to feel sorry for Kezia? No. She's a bitter cow, in the good-old Scottish Labour mold. Part of their problem, not the solution.
