Bigots Get The Green Light

Recommended Posts

No action to be taken for the secterian singing on Friday says Neil Doncaster. Green light for the bigots to carry on. Only in Scotland !!!!!! The rest of the football world stamping down on racism big style while we stay in the dark ages. We have no bottle in Scotland to tackle the problem. Sad state of affairs.

Scotland's shame.

I think the stan colymoore twitter incident fuelled the fire for the game, but there is no excuse for these vile songs.

The only saving grace at the moment is that they are no where near european football but its still embaresing :banghead:

SPFL and the club's inability/unwillingness to do anything about it is truly embarassing.

Now,this may be controversial and please note I don't want this to happen,but..........

What would the outcry be if in Sunday,or any game in the next couple of weeks if Aberdeen or any other fans went on a full noise, non stop sing song about sex offenders, religions and the like.

Would there be countless arrests and a major uproar in the media?

Genuine question.

Ridiculous decision. Apparently all you have to do is say you did your best and then you get off with it.

This is only part of the problem. The clubs set the rules so as long as they satisfy their own set up, they're safe.

They're unlikely to change either unless there's an outside influence to force them.

It's quite simple. Deduct points whether the clubs involved did all they could or not. I don't give a shit if they tried their best - their best wasn't good enough.

Once points start getting deducted it will stop overnight.

This applies to ANY club whose support is guilty of sectarian singing or chanting.

Who decides whether a club has 'done their best'?

Have clubs singled out offenders? Hired staff to oversee the crowd? Advised their fans which songs are banned? Asked the police to eject or arrest fans who misbehave?

Seems like some of that is the *least* they can do, let alone 'their best'

Rangers haven't even released a statement condemning the songs heard on Friday. Hardly surprising but shows how pathetic Doncaster's comments are.
