What would the outcry be if in Sunday,or any game in the next couple of weeks if Aberdeen or any other fans went on a full noise,non stop sing song about sex offenders,religions and the like. The clubs set the rules so as long as they satisfy their own set up, they're safe.They're unlikely to change either unless there's an outside influence to force them. I don't give a shit if they tried their best - their best wasn't good enough. Once points start getting deducted it will stop overnight.
