Right under that is one called "How will Britain stop Ebola from spreading?"............

The other guy (a nurse not a doctor) caught it whilst out in the danger zone and was flown back here for treatment.

antidote
Then there's this. 'Not so independent when it matters are we jocksville?' phart
Seems the daily mail readers agree as well. Such ignoramuses a specific ebola protocol was established it is not a reflection of ability to treat but rather a reflection of what the protocol is in dealing with patients. Of course this just flies over the head of people so they make up their own interpetations.

Outrage as Katie Hopkins jokes about Scotland sending Ebola patient back to England for treatment https://archive.today/qty7a She's a parasite that feeds off the controversy her comments create. She should be ignored! (One day she'll take it too far, there's probably some wee Ned in the green brigade or blue bears been lifted for tweeting less offensive comments)
kumnio
Nic123, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, 2 hours ago I'm from Scotland, and I voted no to independence, purely because we couldn't do it alone. I'm laughing at the people of Scotland who thought we could be independent Such self loathing from pathetic people.

Orraloon
I see they have wheeled oot Prof Hugh Pennington again. He must be near 90 by now. He was probably retired before Ebola was invented. Why can't they speak to somebody with more up to date experience?

Why can't they speak to somebody with more up to date experience? Hasn't he been the chair of every major outbreak this millennium? Also if there are better qualified people having immensely educated scientists answering questions by media might not be the best use of that particular resource. While a 90 year old man with 70 odd years experience with dealing with various out-breaks might be better suited if he can't get into a lab. Not sure what his age has to do with answering questions. I know more the older i get.

He knows what he is talking about with regards to this particular situation, unless we're vetting scientists on their political beliefs. Isaac Newton thought he could turn lead into gold, and the bible held secret codes and shit, but if he's talking about gravity i'd listen to him.
